FP and frozen show questions

this is our first time at DLR with our kiddies so we are super excited! a couple questions:

1. when the gate opens and we have EMH, is FP also available during that early one hour? or is it only available when the park opens to the rest of the guests?

2. do we need a special ticket to see frozen in DCA?

FP as a "rule" is not available during MM/EMH but there does seem to be a thing happening where if EMH at DCA happens after DL opens that FP is available.

No FP for Frozen.

No tickets for Frozen. Just line up about 30-60 minutes before the show. Frozen is closed through June 25 just FYI.
