FP+ 60 days out

I am all set to go and set up our fastpasses at midnight eastern time tonight...just bought the annual passes today. I am super excited, but there is something that concerns me on My Disney Experience. When I pull up the available fastpass dates, the entire month of October, plus the end of September, are not available dates. We are staying on property with our DVC points, so it should be available tonight, correct? I was thinking that all the dates up to the start of our trip would be open, but that is not the case. Now I am really confused.....

If you are more than 60 days out with tickets linked, you will see only the next 30 days. If your night is tonight, it will expand to 60 at midnight ET. The green link in my signature addresses this.

Nope, that's not how it works. You can book 30 days in advance until you have a reservation within 60 days. The way you thought it would work, you'd be able to book more than 30 days in advance between your 30 day mark and your reservation. It doesn't work like that.

Yes, it's because they don't necessarily know when you will pop in with your AP. You could go any time, and can always book 30 FP+ 30 days out. With a stay attached you will find a window open up for 60 for those days, but only once the time begins. As long as your stay is linked on your account you should be all set at 12 am.

Staying on site: FP window for 60 days out opens right at midnight. You book for your entire stay

AP but staying offsite: book 30 days in advance and can only have 7 days worth of FP's within a 30 day window. You also book day by day 30 days out instead of booking whole trip at once.
