I just finished booking our tickets for our second Orlando trip this year! Well, "our" me and my sister J. At 23 and nearly 21, we still love Disney World and we're enjoying these years in between childhood (where people tell you what to do) and parenthood (where your kids dictate what you do!). I had absolutely the best time in Magic Kingdom in May, and now we're heading back with two friends to really live it up with all Orlando has to offer. We are driving up from Fort Lauderdale on Thursday. That night we will attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, in full costume regalia! I love Halloween and haven't been trick or treating for a few years, so I'm really excited. Friday night, Halloween itself, we are shooting over to Tampa for Howl-o-Scream at Bush Gardens. I don't know what's scaring me more, the thought of roller coasters, haunted houses, or the crowds!
Saturday the group will split down the center, with my sister and I heading to Disney's Hollywood studios and the other two off at Epcot. I love Epcot but I've been there more recently, the last time I was at Hollywood Studios they were still animating Pocahontas, so it's time to revisit! I've never even been on Tower of Terror or the Rock n' Roller Coaster, so it seems Halloween will be filled with new terrors for me.
Sunday we're going to kick back at Aquatica, with our very own CABANA! None of us have ever been but I'm sure it will be great to spend some time in the water. Last but not least, we will be hitting Universal's Islands of Adventure on Monday, our bonus day, to catch up with Spiderman and ride the Hulk.
As you can see, a jam packed trip, and it all starts in just five days! It took a lot of wrangling to work out this schedule, and I'm pretty proud of it. And since our costumes are almost done, I just can't wait to GO!
