Does anyone know what these cost on the gate? Are they the same price as buying in advance online (around $178 per adult) or are they more expensive?

The tickets at the gate are $187 inclusive of tax. You can get the 4 park ticket for $175 (inc tax) from the official visitor centre on international drive, near Mecado. That works out about £90 at current rates.
