Since we're onto personal questions here...Can I honestly ask you what you are doing to be permanently safe??? My guess is that you only THINK you are being permanently safe. Since abstinence is the ONLY 100% foolproof method of birth control. I know people who had tubes tied, vasectomy, on the pill (and religious about taking it on time), rythm method, just about every other type - they still are only 99% to 99.8%or so effective (and only then if it is done/taken exactly correctly - which a lot do not do every single time)....you do the math - even if we're talking .01% of pregnancies - that's a LOT of 'surprise' babies when you consider the sheer numbers of people using birth control.
So, saying that - are you still sure you're permanently safe?
As I originally stated we are 98-99% sure we are safe. Do keep in mind that someone who has had a full hysterectomy, ovaries & tubes removed is safe.

) and then they have a pull out trundle bed that my oldest ds (who was 8 at the time) slept in. Worked out great! Actually we had more room than at home, when it seems like all of our children somehow migrate to our one queen size bed in our bedroom each night!
If you guys haven't seen Parenthood watch it it is sooooo funny!
We can not imagine life without them.
The first 2 are gone now and # 3 works full time, but our family is very close and the older ones call everyday just to check in.
I would love for the married ones to join us next year so we can have a family picture taken in front of Cinderella's castle. That would be the ultimate gift for Christmas, Birthday and Mothers day all in one.
but at this point since it's been almost 21 years since my last pregnancy my Dh and I would probably end up in ER with heart attacks.
But anything is possible.
