Up early for 8:00 flight. Easy check in. Our plane sat on the runway in Phila. for about an hour and 20 minutes waiting to take off.
Only waited about 10 minutes for Mears. Our driver (Frank) was entertaining.
Check in at HRH was fast and easy. We were given a pool view room. Went to City Walk and had lunch at Margaritaville. I had Cuban meatloaf, which was very good. Went to IOA – rode Cat in the Hat, saw Poseidon’s Fury (stand by 60 min.- we walked right in)- rode Spider Man (wait time 90 min) LOVE that room key. Went to ride the Hulk, but it was down!! Did Jurassic Park River Ride and got soaked. I hardly got wet the last time I rode. It seemed everyone was getting soaked today—don’t know why. Back to the hotel to clean up. Delicious dinner at Mythos. I had the Corvina, which was out of sight. Even the vegetable was great. They just have a way of blending flavors there. Then I had the warm, gooey, chocolate, banana cake. Can’t begin to describe how much I love that!

Sleep. To Universal. Did Terminator, Back to the Future, MIB, ET. Had lunch at Lombard’s Landing. Very good blackened grouper. It rained. My nephew drove up from Westin and had a room at the Royal Pacific. Thunder storms. We lucked out and caught the bus because the boats stopped running. RP is very nice. A lot of wood and a cute back scratcher hanging on the bathroom door. Rain let up so we went to IOA. At City Walk, my three year old great niece stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a car on the Hulk go by. Her mouth dropped open and she gasped and said, ”Look at that!” It was so cute. She had to stop and look at it when she entered the park too. Rode Hulk rode with my nephew. Back to the hotel. Dinner at the Latin Quarter. They still have the best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. Watched the fireworks behind Captain Quint’s Seafood and Chowder House. FANTASTIC fireworks for the 4th!!

Went to IOA alone to ride front row of the Dragons. Rode each one four times. Then my nephew met me and we did each one. Front row Ice- Back row Fire where we both held our arms up the whole time.
Rode Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish. Rode Jurassic Park—didn’t get really wet this time. Rode Spider Man. Had a GREAT lunch at Mythos. To the hotel to the pool and of course it started to rain. We sat there under an umbrella in the rain.
Went to US- did Hannah Barbara. Had dinner at the Hard Rock Café. The RP pool was closed that day because someone had an “accident” in it! Went to IOA to see the Island Blast Fireworks. Watched them from behind Mythos. Rides were still running after the fireworks.

Went to IOA alone again. Did four fire and four ice. Did Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish, I rode Hulk(back row hands up!), Spider Man—the drop scene was not shown so I spoke up and said I thought we should ride again and we were escorted right through to ride again immediately!. To US. Did MIB, ET.. Had lunch at Lombard’s Landing. We did Jaws- the kids played some games. It was HOT today. Went to HRH to the pool. The water was too warm. It wasn’t refreshing. At least I got to rest a little. To US. Dinner at Finnegans. The potato and onion web was very yummy—the rest of the meal was just OK. Rode ET. Watched the fireworks in front of the International Food Festival. Packed.

Up early. My nephew drove us over to the Dolphin.
Report on our stay at the Dolphin is on the WDW report board.

We were there same time as you. I wonder if our paths ever crossed? I did T-2, MIB, JP, on the same days as yourself. I guess were at fault for not having green ribbons on. I was at PBH with my family. Sounds like you had a great trip. We did US/IOA 4th thru 6th.

We wore our green ribbons at WDW, but not at Universal.

Thanks for posting your highlights! I can't wait to get to Mythos and have someone else doing the cooking for a change. ;) I can still remember last year's lunch!

Sherrilatte,
We had a lunch and a dinner at Mythos. For dinner, the Corvina (it's like Sea Bass) was outstanding. At lunch we got the pork with pineapple sandwhich and split that and the pizza of the day. Both were delicious. It's definitely my favorite restaurant.

Isn't that Banana Gooey cake amazing!! Thanks for posting.
