I haven't really picked Jr yet this year but after the improvement on Sunday, I'm more inclined to. I want to see some consistency first.

Good morning Ladies!

Just a quick post before I head off to work. I'm subbing for the teacher today instead of for my normal classroom aide position. We figured it would be easier to have someone who's in the classroom and knows the routine to be the teacher for the day. Someone will be subbing for my position. The kids are getting so wild! I think the nice weather and the fact that school will be over soon has them all hyped up.

racetrack: So cool that school is out for your kids. (I'm sure that feeling will change by mid summer!) My kids go till June 22 and on that day they get out at noon. Darn those snow days!

LITC: How I remember all those pillows. I also remember the Dr telling me to lay on my left side because laying on my right put pressure on an artery that allowed blood flow to the baby. I HATE SLEEPING ON MY LEFT SIDE! My DH is on that side and he's always breathing in my face.

OK, Saturday to Monday it is! MK, we should coordinate on a hotel. No sense everyone staying all over the place! Togetherness is the big idea here, right? I can go do some hotel research and report back. As for fondue, I do have a pot, but I think it is the kind for cheese, not chocolate. i will check that out too.

Racetrack I am soooooooo jealous! You are leaving so soon. I know you will have a great time. Live vicariously for those of us who wont get there this year!

I was in bed at 8:15 last night. Not totally sleeping, just kind of lazing. Sleep came about 9:30, once the kids were in bed. i actually slept through the night for once.

Kinda grey and gloomy here today, and only about 60 degrees. Brrrr. I want SUMMER!

We had patchy frost here last night. Had to run around covering all my plants last night. Good gravy...when will summer get here? Temps in the 50s here today - yuck!!!!

So are you all doing the park 2 days? We'll get more ideas after Racer's back.

We're only doing the park on Sun. Mon will be the day we start on our way to Philly or DC. Not sure where we're going first. May just drive into Jersey too so I can say I was there.

LITC - Sorry you're not sleeping well. I didn't have those problems until later. When I started getting HUGE. My DS was over 9lb when born. I bought the body pillow and for the last 3 months of the pregnancy couldn't find a good way to sleep. Did you get my address on FB to send the flat TKers to????

Race - Enjoy the last day of school. I so wish I was you going to Universal. Orlando sounds great right about now.

Good morning friends! Its kinda sunny here, but not supposed to get too warm today. Its much better than the showers of yesterday, though. Still not warm enough to really put my laundry out, which I'm waiting to do.

Wendy, I was totally thinking the same thing re:hotels last night. I guess we should go for a hotel closer to the campground--M&N would be able to give us the best suggestions.

Is Racer and family ready to go? I've been getting all sorts of mail from Universal lately and I just really want to go again!

Hi D&D! Just missed you!

If things go according to my plan, we should be in the Hershey area by mid-afternoon. Was going to try to do that after dark special, where you get in the night before if you buy tix for the next day. Definitely doing the park on Sunday, and maybe a little on Monday, depending on schedules. According to mapquest, its a little over 3 hours for the trip, and its a beautiful drive, so I'm not too hurried to get back on Monday.

OK, so WHERE is the campground? I researched hotels in Hershey, avoiding the ones farther out. Here is my list (from tripadvisor.com)

Days Inn Hershey Rated #13, with 3-4 ***
It looks ok from the photo, $187/night for 2 adults

Econolodge Hershey Rate #16, with 2**
Looks kind of dumpy, $130/night for 2 adults

Hampton Inns and Suites Hershey Rated #6 with 4 ****
Looks nice, great location $178-247/night (higher price is for suites)

Springhill Suites Rated #2 with 4 ****
Very nice, I have stayed here before. Good location $269/night suite

If the campground is not actually in Hershey, i will do a new search for the appropriate area. Let me know!

Hey D&D! Its sunny, but not nearly as warm as June should be. But I'll take it. Luckily, I have iron legs and can still sport my beloved skirts without feeling too cold.

Morning! Looks like a lot of us are having the same gloomy, cold weather.

We are probably only going to do the park on Sunday too. Hershey is our go with flow and relax park.

Everything is almost packed. And DH will be home around 2pm today so that should make everything much easier. Oh, and the owners of the company were again asking DH's supervisor how soon we are moving. DH told him if he was home once in a while, he could start getting things ready to actually move. Way to go DH for pointing out the obvious.

OK, there is one hotel listed for Elizabethtown, and it is booked solid. So I checked the Harrisburg East area, which is sort of on the way to Hershey from there. These hotels are about 10 minutes from Hershey. Here aer the 3 best I found.

Hilton Gardens Inn Rated #4 in the area, 4 stars, all good reviews.
$134/night for 2 adults

Courtyard by Marriott Rated #2 in the area, 4-5 stars, good reviews.
$160/night for 2 adults, or $180/night with breakfast.

Homewood Suites Rated #1 in the area, 4-5 stars, good reviews.
$189 - 239/night for 2 adults

I will have to go back and try to find M&Ns post on hotels near there. Any idea what page it was on?
