I'm doing good thanks. how are you? Actually got up a little energy today did most of the dishes, some of the laundry, went through the pile of mail that was sitting there, and got my shopping lists ready for tomorrow. Can't believe I finally accomplished something around here!

I had a nice relaxing day for a change. I was able to send the kids, and DH too, outside all afternoon. I should have cleaned but it was just too quiet.

I do think I am more tired from doing nothing than when the kids are here driving me crazy.

Well, everybody needs a relaxing day from time to time. I had 2/3rds of a relaxing day until I finally decided to do something. But I know tomorrow is going to be busy with all the errands I have to do.

Bopsmom!! My flowers are still blooming and looking beautiful! Everyone comments on them, and people are amazed when I tell them the person who sent them is soneone I've never even met!

If I didn't already have a kitchen FULL of PC stuff I never use, I'd check it out and order something. But I put a ban on PC awhile back becuase it just takes up space in my cabinets!!

I am so glad the flowers are still pretty. You've met me-just never met me in person it still works for us. I hope you are feeling much better this week. A friend just had her 2nd knee replacement this week-she had one a month ago-and got the other one done on Wednesday-Yikes!

I know about the moritorium on PC I had one too. I just thought that it would be a good product for the band. Many people know it and trust it-better than cookie dough I guess.

Good Sunday morning everyone! Hope everyone's plans for a restful or errand-filled day is successful.

Tomorrow is my mother's and Barbie's birthday (although Barbie is a bit younger). I have no idea what to get Mom. She is absolutely the worst person to shop for. The family is just having family dinner on Friday to celebrate. I did make cupcakes though.

Racetrack, I'm so happy that things are going so well for your family, esp with DS. Tell him congrats on his "license to drive".

Hey Race! They're vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting (optional) and sprinkles (also optional). I, however, opt for both!

DS in young, bless his heart. There will always be bumps in the road. But it seems that your family has gotten into a better groove than before and that only makes for great times together. Here's crossing my fingers to avoid those brick walls!

No rain here yet, but it's cloudy, and it's coming. Hopefully it will wait until AFTER I have to take DD to swim practice from 6-7!! Going out in the rain is just a little scary for me yet.

Church went very well. Pain is minimal. DD is cooking dinner tonite (chicken with stuffing, mashed potatoes and peas) so I can relax. So nice to have a chef as one of my servants!!

The kids are outside playing. YAY!! DS decided to clean out the shed, so he hung all my fake flowers on the porch. A little early in the season, but what the heck! Nice to see him taking the initiative.

Seems like everyone is having good weather except us. Cold and rainy both yesterday and today.

(better rain than snow though) Even getting some thunder too.

I spent all of yesterday helping to get my Mom's house ready to sell. She wants to move to a condo this summer. It will be so much easier for her to manage. Worst part about yesterday was spending the entire day listening to my younger, control freak sister, try to take over everything. She is just soooo hard to work with. Ones of those people who is always finding fault or cutting others down to make herself feel good. I came home all worked up and crazy from biting my tounge all day. Then, I read a passage from my Daily Inspiration book and the topic was... pray for those who persecute you -- how fitting. Thanks God!

OK Danny's the one who wife just died...definitely liked him from the start. I guess his friend didn't make it through?

D&D- you are not the only one, we started getting rain last evening (a few sprinkles in the morning also, but hard rain in pm) and it has been on and off since then. I left the window in the living room open last night and BRRRR this morning, but it must have worked because I slept awesome for a change!

LITC, I definitely sleep better when there's a chill in the room. But that may also be because I live in an old house and I'm used to the draft!

D&D....don't you love it when God gives you signs like that? I just ask Him to give me the strength to get through it, and I'll trust him to take care of me.

Hi Kitty, I agree all the experts say you should sleep on a cool room. But I guess since I have always been a bit of a freeze baby I usually choose to ignore that advice . OF course the fresh air probably helped to, that is another thing I do not like about winter, after months and months of being all closed up everything just feels icky!

That is so true! It hasn't gotten THAT warm yet here to open all the windows and to air the house out. I'm so looking forward to it. Everything just feels stale nowadays. It probably doesn't help that I'm recycling my own germs.

I can't wait to hang my laundry outside to dry again! I love the smell of sunshine on my clothes and linens.

Oh, that is so awsome that you can do that. I used to love how things felt when we visited my grandparents in Florida during the summer and grandma hung everything to dry. Of course they didn;t even have a dryer, and I used to get so embarrased at my lil' undies hanging out to dry!!!!

When I was younger and my mom hung out the clothes, I got her to hand out everything EXCEPT the undergarment load.

It was mortifying even though I was only a little kid. Plus they lived on the corner of a major highway type road so there was always allot of traffic. Boy I sure do miss those visits though!
