Just wanted to check in.
I called Wendy tonight and I hope that she is doing alright. :
I hope that she will be ready for summer fun. I hated to call being sick myself but I hope she would understand.
I have spent the last couple of days turning beds and getting things ready for spring then all of a sudden I have been really sick.
Really unusual for me. I can't keep anything down and I just feel terrible. Of course I still have to do the fundraiser, but luckily it is via computer and phones at this point. Yuck!

M&N, it does seem like it's just colder everywhere. Wasn't it not that long ago that they shut down Blizzard Beach because it was so cold down there?

Racer---Have you made your NASCAR picks yet? I'm having a hard time. I have 7 names and can't decide...Denny Hamlin has done good at this track too.

Nope, haven't picked yet. I'd like to pick both Busch brothers this week since it's their home track but Penske cars are not what they used to be. Johnson seems like a shoe in. He's won how many races there?

Hey!

DH thinks I am sick because it smells all around the house. 13 beds, all turned-allergies to mold- and add in horse manure and all the trees are in bloom right now-. I think I am sick because it is just killing my allergies.

OK I want advice from ya'll... we are thinking about canceling the WDW trip, either renting out the reservation (Boardwalk Villa, Boardwalk view) or banking the points because believe it or not DD wants to go see her cousins in Ohio instead of going to WDW in June. Now, I really don't care because June in FL is just as hot as June in Texas so I would love to go some place cooler. We have looked into going to Cedar Point but the hotels all have a terrible rating and bad reviews per Trip Advisor.com. We have done Kings Island so I don't really want to do it again but really is Hershey Park worth the drive from Cincinnati? I would love to drive on over to see my BF in Alexadria, VA so maybe if DH thinks the trip will be good he migtht consider it.Your input would be appreciated....Where to stay, how long etc.

Hershey Park...is it worth it? It's got nice roller coasters. They are adding to water park part this year. I really don't do a lot of rides so Racetrack can answer that best. Where to stay...Hershey Hotel is 5 star! The Hershey Lodge is cheaper. There's a convention center there. I can't even picture the chain motels nearby. There's Choicolate World and a new Hershey Museum that sounds really nice. There's an antique auto museum. Indian Echo Caverns is near. Of course, you are near Lancaster too. It's about 2 hrs to DC.

Hershey Park rides....It has a very good mixture of thrill rides and family friendly rides. Their coasters are very good but not as extreme as Cedar Point. When we go, it's a very relaxing day. There are 3 coasters that you should do as soon as possible but after that, there is no rushing. There are plenty of shows to see.

M&N, where are building the water park? Is it going to be an add-on to what is there already?

It's going in there somewhere. I could not see how they put the other things in the middle of it all.
If Bopsmom comes, we should try and get others to have a meet.

A quick hello to all. Maybe by the time that warm weather gets here we will all be much better.
DH and I just got our new glasses on Tuesday. This was his first pair of progressive glasses and my second pair. Wow the price is the same as my four new tires that I just got. Oh well, I have got to see so I can drive . Can't have one without the other.

I am just waiting for that day~ Hazy, hot and humid. Sweat pouring off of you and it's so hot you can't stand it!

I guess we need to open the doors and windows to get some much needed fresh air. Maybe all of those germies will freeze up, get sick and die.
