Good evening all. For now I guess I got my second wind. DH and I just got back from trying to choose eye glasses for the each of us. So many frames, not enough time. I guess we will each get a pair eventually. As far as basements go, we have a split level house. With two bedrooms and another living room with a wood stove. Washer and dry in with the furance area. Our land is about an acre and a half in a triangle. We wanted a full basement with regular ceiling height. Unfortunately we have a very wet area and could only have 4' knee walls. With concrete knee walls and floors we were hoping that water wouldn't find its way down there. We got water in there only once when ice built up behind the house because DH was driving over it with his snow machine. This past summer we were painting and doing my craft room over and we found some mold on the ceiling and a little on the wall. I don't ever remember it being in there when Pikester lived at home. When we went to get paint it was recommened to us to use bathroom paint because it is mildew resistant. It was great that it came in ceiling and wall paint. We have since gotten a de-humidifier. This time of year we really should have a humidifier. Can we ever win?
BKMETV~ I loved the kitchen wisdom poem
mariezp~ I hope that itch will go away. Have you tried taking a baking soda bath or maybe epsome salts.
racetrack18kb~ I hope you will feel better soon. Coming your way
M&N~ Your basement story reminds me of Kevin in "HOME ALONE". They can be very scarey.
Bopsmom~ I was telling DH about all the critters that you have around your place and he thinks that it is
We both like the Javelina. So ugly that he is cute.
Might get a chance to chat later.
You fought the law and won!!!
There were some VERY unhappy people in my building today!

Except for hurricanes...
Check in when you can and let us know how things went.
We're just a little different and live in different places. Thank heavens or we would all be pretty crowded!
Gonna have to think up some simple conversation.
She doesn't react. Apparently my sisters and I may have this same trait. Once we were playing in a vacant lot near my Grandmother's house. She went out to check for poison oak, didn't see any but broke out later. We were just fine.
