I have to pass on the sad news that I just received from Marshall, the baritone in Four for a Dollar at the Studios.

As of September 20, Four for a Dollar will no longer exist at the Studios. If you have never seen this wonderful a cappella preshow before Beauty and the Beast, you owe it to yourselves to squeeze in a visit before they're gone.

The guys in the group are tremendous musicians and wonderful friends, and they will be sorely missed.

I love their show and will miss it. Are they moving on, or being moved on? I wonder if we can do anything to change it. It didn't matter how many times I saw the show, I really found it funny and entertaining. Some days I enjoyed them more then B&B.

They are being moved on. My experience with these changes in the past (Future Corps, Hollywood Hitmen, Kids of the Kingdom band, etc.) suggests that Disney rarely reverses a decision like this.

As I told Marshall, I can't think of an act across property that's more consistently well-received.

What sad news - glad I finally got to see them in July. We somehow managed to miss them on all of our previous trips.

This a serious bummer, I love 4 for a dollar, great act! Sounds like Disney is getting cheaper by the second.

I also loved Future Corps!

I can't believe it. 4 for a Dollar was amazing. I enjoyed them as much as the Beauty and the Beast show. I loved their voices and I loved when they did stuff for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. They were just wonderful, I can't believe they are leaving. :sad1:

Are they being replaced, not that they could be, or are they just not doing a pre-show before Beauty?

Sheeesh :scared: The news keeps getting worse and worse regarding talent at WDW. :sad2:

I'm glad I will get to see them one more time before their last show, but that is sad - I loved them.

Absolutely LOVE them. How magical is that first show everyone experiences when you don't know ahead of time that these guys are going to sing, oh I will miss them:sad1: . I am so happy we got to see them in April this past year! And so glad they are part of my photo album too.
PLEASE tell Marshall how much they are loved, ok? Did he say why they are moving them on?

I will definitely pass along your best wishes.

As to why they're being moved on, it amounted to some version of "out with the old, in with the new." :sad2:

Disney is nuts. Truly they are nuts. How could they possibly not know how much the audience LOVES these guys? I'm not getting this. I have been 9 years in a row, and never tire of them, ever. And every single audience has just adored them. What in the world gives, can you make sense of it? Can you tell us how Marshall feels about it, is he ready to move on or are they upset about it?

I don't know how much I should say, but I do know that Marshall loved his job and was thrilled to be there each day.

Understood. I'd love to know how they feel about this, but understand you can't talk about it. You could tell how much they loved being there, it was more than just a job to them. I guess I get why they're making the huge decisions to change Pleasure Island and its all about the money, but this? Its not about the money, its about making people laugh and have about 10 minutes of pure entertainment! Thats got nothing to do about the bottom line, right? Oh, this is just so confusing to me, I hate it.

You know, I can almost (almost) understand shuttering the Adventurer's Club
(not a true "all ages" Disney attraction in a location that was not a part of the
"main stream" in the parks.)

But something as guaranteed sure-fire fun,
"everybody-from Little-Leslie-to-Great-Grandma-goes-crazy-over" act,
like 4 for $,
in as high-profile, well-attended a spot as "B&B Live,"
is very hard to see why it would get arbitrarily "pulled."

That is very sad and confusing.

I'm very sad to hear that! I've only seen them once, and I was looking forward to taking my kids and grandkids in May :sad2: I'll definitely make it a point to see them next month.

I am very sad to here this... we saw them last year and the whole family loved them! Like everyone else we did not realize they were going to be singing like that. DH thought they were one of the best 'things' about our vacation. We are going shortly so we will definately make a point to see them.... thanks for the heads up.

I really enjoyed them, too. Sad that they aren't going to be there on our next trip.
