Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

Friday???? :scared1:

But, it's like only Monday right now, right??

(let's all take a bet to see how long she can live without us!)

I bet 24 Hours from now.
:rotfl2: Not even that long :rotfl2: Just thought I'd pop on before we leave!!!!

Hey Jo,

Enjoying your trippie. I love manatees and ocean animals in general. Illuminations is my family's favorite but I prefer Wishes...
Christamae Manatees are my favourite, not sure why they're just so sweet, my fave's Wishes too :goodvibes

Sounds like you guys had a good time at CR.... I have heard quite alot bad... good to see someone had a good time :)
I think the tank view made the meal, if I had had a table at the back I don't think I would have done the same review!

When you were little? How long ago was that? I thought this attraction was fairly new. :confused3
When I went about 25 years ago, Epcot had just opened, and the figment ride was there then, I can remember buying a stuffed Figment :)

Bye,Jo...I hope you don't miss us too much....:rolleyes1
Missed you already  :rotfl2:

Have a great time, Jo! I hope you have a nice visit. :goodvibes

We'll miss you!

I've finally caught up on your report in the last few days and it's great. Looks like you all had a wonderful time! We ate at CR as well and enjoyed it although that doesn't seem to be the Dis opinion!

Just catching up! It's hard to stay caught up with these popular reports :surfweb:

After about a 10 minute wait at Coral Reef we’re seated, we have an awesome table right by the tank :yay:

That's awesome! :thumbsup2

How did you manage that? We were across and thought we had great seats

I would definitely eat here again just for the view, I know we had a great table and I probably wouldn’t think the same if I was at the back.

Same here! We were sorry that we didn't go this year.

We stopped and browsed in a shop and Ellie discovered that the princess pins she was trading for were a CM set of 5 pins and she had just found her 4th one :yay:

My daughter got the same set! I hope Ellie managed to get the 5th pin :wizard:

Hope you're having a great visit with your family :goodvibes

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal at Coral Reef. I can't wait to write about our experience--we loved it, too!

Have a great visit with your family, and we'll "see" you when you get back!

I believe I read where the water at the CR tank would fill SE over 3 times!!!!

The ambience was nice, the food was adequate. I did love the Sour Green drink that you all had told me about. Thanks!!

I think what is confusing is that Figment sort of disappeared for a bit and then was brought back by popular demand. Still not a well visited attraction though. I do not know that many even know it is there as the signage is not that much of a much and if you look into the interior it does not appear to be much. I often ride it a few times in a row. Bummer having to get on and off though.

Ok, that makes sense. Maybe it's been closed on some of my past visits.

Montana Disney Fan, that is entirely possible since I believe it was closed down for renovation one time. The other possiblity is that it is tucked back into a corner without much of a sign. Catch it next time maybe?

Yoo Hoo! I see YOU!

Stop that immediately or I shall have to call the authorities. Really!!

Was there a Jo sighting???

Dang it! Missed her--it's like 4 am on this thread now, so guess she's asleepin'.

TEminnie, you are better off for missing the sighting. She was clearly up to no good. :rotfl:

Speaking of which, up at 4 am? That does not bode well for what you might be up to as well. I am getting worried about the company I am keeping. :scared1:

We've never been to Coral Reef. Maybe next trip.
Too bad about Illuminations - not getting the better seats when you had been there that long. How in the world did you beat the crowds back to the bus?

After about a 10 minute wait at Coral Reef we’re seated, we have an awesome table right by the tank :yay: We were allowed to have speciality drinks here on the DDP so us girls all got Strawberry daiquiris whilst David got a coke  It did come in useful later on when the girls shared his free refills as there are no refills on the special drinks :rotfl2:
Cheating Disney again by sharing drinks??? :rotfl2:

I would definitely eat here again just for the view, I know we had a great table and I probably wouldn’t think the same if I was at the back. Here are a few photos, sorry they’re a bit dark!
Definitely? Really? Guess it must be for the view ... :confused3

We always have to look at the Steiff bears as the girls each have the limited edition one from the year they were born, DH and I have the 2000 one and I was given a really old one which is still in mint condition when I was a baby :thumbsup2
What are these? I have never heard of them. Can you take a picture and post it?

We still had a great view but I must say it isn’t my favourite show, the fireworks are great but the bit with the ball just goes on for too long and gets *gasp* boring!!!!
Okay. I have never said that before but totally thought the exact same thing! Thank you. I don't feel as bad now.

No silly--10 pm here is 4 am in England. Ya gotta be quick to keep up with me Linda (aka Yeti in disguise ;) :lmao: )

It's opinions like these that will get the whole thing shut down! ;)

(actually I think they are do for a revision--thought it might happen at the 25th anniversary but guess not

TEminnie, I am sorry. I can barely keep up with time it is in my neck of the woods let alone be capable of doing the math it would take to know what time it is elsewhere. You are not only purty but brainy. :teacher: I have never been neither 'quick' nor 'fast'. Missed out on a lot of fun by being that way.:rotfl:

Disneyolic, I am with you and the others in thinking that Illuminations is lame and yes, they are in the process of getting a rehab. Sorely needed. When even my dh, who finds every parade or firework worth checking out, finds this a 'can miss' it has to be pretty bad. I really hate being taken advantage of with the quality of the food at the Cantina in order to have a good seat too. Taco Bell is better.

Miz Diz, Coral Reef is pricey but could probably be done with less food than we ordered on FD. The ambience is nice though and it is very restful. An appetizer does me for a meal. Waiters do not like that in a person though. I try to tip well though.
