Just my opinion but I don't see a hot dog place going in there when there's already a corn dog place on the boardwalk.

I just got back from a stay at BWI and I’ve gotta say - I had a Reuben sandwich from the Boardwalk Deli and it was absolutely delicious. I’m from New York and it rivals our Reubens! Made to order so if you’re not a fan of sauerkraut, no problem

Looks like the pool renovations are now 2027 according to DIsney's website...I wonder if that's right or an oversight on the year

That is correct. Those dates were announced back in September.

I’m a big fan of the Italian hero at the deli! They have good sandwiches!

This may have been asked and answered before, but I can't find current information. Can you tell me if there is a place to refill your refillable mug inside the Boardwalk Inn or do you have to go outside the resort to the Boardwalk Deli to do so? I am primarily interested in coffee/tea refills, not soft drinks. Thank you.

In the morning you can fill them in the lobby in the breakfast nook near the elevators across from Carousel Coffee. Other than that. The Deli is your only choice.

Glad to see that space is hopefully coming back to life soon! Between that and Jelly Roll, that end of the Boardwalk is looking pretty sad and abandoned!

....I was saying that very same thing the other day when we dined at Trattoria al Forno! My DS is a Castmember and they were told that WDW is slowly trying to get rid of 3rd party locations (at resorts, not necessarily at DS)

Construction Work at Former Big River Grille at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

We noticed loud construction work being done inside the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort this morning, February 19.



Big River, which closed in January 2024, has been out of operation for over two years. But we noticed loud construction, which sounded like interior demolition, happening at the former restaurant today. The front of the location is blocked off by refurbishment hedges.


We noticed a rental trailer sitting out in front of the front entrance, tucked behind the hedges. As of right now, there has been no announcement regarding what will replace Big River. Though we can assume that if interior work is being done, an announcement will come sometime in the foreseeable future.
