Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

Then to get the free DDP it looks best to buy direct with WDWUK now this is where the problem comes in and I need you all to help me choose. All these include 14 day hopper/water tickets and the DDP.........

1) POR $3472
2) AKL $4536
3) WL $5656
4) Swan $5712 no DDP though
and lastly the one I wanted but  and it's only a standard room
5) BC $6832

Or does anyone know a better way of booking it????

BTW if I did BC as a package inc flights with Virgin Holidays it comes to over $14,000 :scared1:  :scared1:

Thank you my unpaid travel advisers :rotfl:

Ok so if Free Dining isn't offered I would say go with renting/buying DVC points
If you play your cards right you could get a pretty big room for about $4500 or less. You have to request DDP prior to check in though.

I don't know your travel dates, but here's some price examples using Aug 16-30.
SSR 1 BR: if you can find someone selling them $10/point then you could pay about $4500
SSR studio: about $2240

Plus if LL and V go you'll all be neighbors :rolleyes1

AKL, but people usually sell those points at $13 or more per point: So at $14/point
Studio-value: Runs about $2324
Studio Savannah: Runs about $3276

BCV at $10/pt
Studio standard view: $2460
@ $12/pt $2952

BWV at $10/pt
Studio standard view: $2140
@ $12/pt $2568

You can try pricing them out too: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resort/dvcpoint.cfm

With that said if Free Dining is offered and you want moderate, then I guess POR is the way for you to go. I would've said CSR, but you already went there. :)

Sorry this was so long. :flower3:

Another Trip? Can't you come in Oct, Nov or Dec? When it is cooler? Paaahhhleeeze?

I'm not a POLY fan either. (Sorry T:guilty: ) Scrooge says that he reminds him of the old TB show Love American Style. I don't think it's that bad, but like the Contemporary it doesn't do much for me.

I love WL every time we go to Artist Point or just to resort hop, On our longer yrips we would spend day just going to each hotel and looking around, going to the shops, etc. WL is my dream resort.

Don't get frustrated - Remember the planning is part of the fun!

Good morning Jo or should I say good afternoon??:goodvibes
How was your weekend.. any golf?DH took DS5 to the range to hit balls and the poor thing came home with blisters galore:eek:

Jo, I'm finally caught up and it sounds like you're having a great time so far! Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more great pictures!

Denise

Plus the lodge is GORGEOUS, the animals are awesome, it's just a great experience staying there.....
I'm veering towards AKL!

Can UK residents get an AP and get an AP discount on rooms/packages?? There's a thought...
We can but we would never go more than once a year and would also want water parks!

And what if you DIDN'T do the dining plan (unless it's free)...you guys only eat half the stuff anyway...that may save additional money...
We would never pay for it as you said way too much food for us!

Found you Jo. TAG - You're it!!! :lmao:
:rotfl2:

No problem Jo, Here is my 2 cents FWIW:rotfl:
Thanks Theresa :)

The food!:lmao: Deep fried dough rolled in powdered sugar. My diet starts again tomorrow!:)
I've never heard of them, sound yummy though!

Jo, does David realize his picture has been posted, making it easier for us to stalk you???:lmao:
:rotfl2:

Here's my 2 cents' worth...
Thanks V

Well since DM threw in her photos of the WL I thought I would share mine to help convince you!;)
Lovely photos Lessa and you to DM :thumbsup2

Question--do the girls sleep well in a bed together? Fine they would prefer their own bed though How well did you all get ready with 1 bathroom? fine
These are questions we are pondering for the next trip. I am looking at the Contemporary cause it has a sofa-bed. And my inlaws LOVED Saratoga for the extra room.
Or we could go with 2 value rooms, I guess.....

Then again--the wilderness lodge shots look good too--thought I was still on Mo's report!!!

Then again--the Swan and Dolphin have Sheraton points.....

So......did I help some with your decision???? :rotfl2: Oh definately ;) :rotfl2:

Ok so if Free Dining isn't offered I would say go with renting/buying DVC points
Wow thanks for all that Zorylee

Another Trip? Can't you come in Oct, Nov or Dec? When it is cooler? Paaahhhleeeze?
Sorry, the girls aren't allowed out of school, can you come in august? :rotfl2:

Don't get frustrated - Remember the planning is part of the fun!
Yes I must remember that :rotfl2:

Good morning Jo or should I say good afternoon??:goodvibes
How was your weekend.. any golf?DH took DS5 to the range to hit balls and the poor thing came home with blisters galore:eek:

Darn I shouldn't have said :rotfl2:

Hi Amy :wave2:

Jo, I'm finally caught up and it sounds like you're having a great time so far! Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more great pictures!

Denise
Thanks Denise :)

I can't believe I forgot to put this in my post!!!

When DH and I were flying home from Alaska last week, the flight attendant came over the intercom and announced that there was a passenger on board with a severe nut allergy. She asked that we not open anything we had brought on board that may contain nuts.

I had just read your trippie a few days before, and suddenly started laughing uncontrollably. I managed to explain to DH why I was laughing, but the people around me probably thought I was very insensitive toward the person with the allergy!

Denise

Ooooh! Whadda get?

I got my Epcot Homeschooling book. In fact, I'm going to get read some of it now! i'll check back to see what you got today.

What did you get in the mail?? Enquiring (nosey) minds want to know!!!

There's a rumour flying around that Jo received her Photopass CD in the post today... :rolleyes1

SOME of us think that means that she has her hands on still more great pictures and therefore should update! :rotfl2:

I expect one when I wake up tomorrow, Jo! :rotfl:

I leave for a week, come back and this TR has already exploded! Catching up.

The pic of Belle is the prettiest Belle I've seen at WDW.

You got a dream!! Yay! And a magical moment!

We didn't get any dreams.

Great TR!

Congrats on already getting to book another vacation. Your DH ROCKS!

I'm confused?!!!

First - shouldn't you be up now?

Second - never saw the preshow and have made it to rope drop twice. How did I miss that?

Third - who is TheDISneyFamily - am I supposed to know her from a former screen name. I feel so out of the loop.

I'm getting lonely.

My DH did not want to stay at Poly, so last Dec we split our stay at SSR and Poly. SSR was first and DH loved it. Complained about Poly the entire time we were at SSR and complained about having to move. Complained about Poly as we were checking in. We got to our room and walked around and he LOVED Poly.

I would choose AKL.

Ahem Jo! You have been spotted consorting on other threads and it is high-time you got your fanny back to your own!:lmao:

(fanny--Southern noun meaning your bee-hind, not the UK bad word):thumbsup2
