Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

I've just finally finished adding borders and stuff to my photopass photos and ordered it, saved me $35 by pre ordering :yay: It should be here on the 10th :thumbsup2
What?? Darn it! I knew I should have pre-ordered it! :headache: I really didn't think I'd have time to photopass, but I was channeling LL and ended up with tons of great Photopass pics.
And what's up with the quick service? I ordered mine last night and got an email confirmation that I would receive it on 9/11 via UPS! D'OH! :headache:

Aren't you due for a new installment? Just sayin'. :surfweb:

A day late and a dollar short, but I am here. Sorry, yesterday was Jimmy's Birthday so no Dising until late last night.
That's OK Janet and a belated Happy Birthday to Jimmy :cool1:

I ordered mine last night and got an email confirmation that I would receive it on 9/11 via UPS! D'OH! :headache:
Weird I ordered mine today and my e-mail said 10th and that's overseas too

Aren't you due for a new installment? Just sayin'. :surfweb:
Maybe :rotfl2: I need your writing skills though!

So there we are standing in the queue for Soarin with the Dream Team giving out ears to the people ahead and I’m gutted, I say to David OMG can’t believe how close we were to the DT and he’s like who? WTH how is this man married to me? :rotfl2: So I explain all about them etc and that is how I won my lanyard in the post for goodness sake! So with me still sulking we walk around the corner, the one just before you’re told which line to stand in and the DT still have an arm full of ears and we get them too :yay: I was so excited whereas most of the people didn’t have a clue about YOAMD and how lucky they were  It was really sweet as when we boarded our glider the CM congratulated us, but we still had to stash those little beauties safely away :lmao:

So all happy with a spring in our steps, well mine anyway, we head over to TT, now remember we were having an earlyish day due to jetlag and that the original plan was to go get FP’s before Soarin but it was too hot, well we get there at about 11am and the FP return time was 4pm  we were going to be long gone by then and as the standby was about 40mins we had to miss one of our favourite rides at WDW  Jess and I did go score some MS FP’s for later though :rotfl: So what to do? What to do? We headed to Figment (a childhood fave) and the line here was enormous too  So we went to meet him instead with no line :yay:

P1000435.jpg

He was so cute, he kept tickling us and pointing at our ears and putting his thumbs up! When we came out (the figment meet is in a nice little air conditioned room) it was hot, now remember this was our first day so it was hotter than hot. The girls saw some kids playing with some fountains and decided it looked a good way to cool off.

P1000439.jpg

It got Jess right on the head :rotfl2:

We grabbed some ice creams to eat in the shade before we headed off around the world. Ellie wanted to do the masks so off to the Kidcot stops we went starting with Canada. To be honest we didn’t really explore the countries much, I know, but we knew we’d be back and today’s mission was the masks, oh and a bit of stalking :rotfl2: Before I left I found out that another TFW DISser would be in the same parks as me for the first 3 days so I was keeping a look out for her :thumbsup2 So we gradually get our stamps and get to Japan where it was only 20 minutes until the candy lady, which the girls love, so they position themselves in front of her cart ready for her show. Last trip they were lucky enough to be chosen and both received a candy animal :yay: She was much stricter this time and each family was only allowed one which really is better as more people can have one :) But the girls were lucky again and asked for a unicorn, it was so cool to watch her make this and amazing when she made the twisted horn so clever, all the time she talks about the hot candy, yummy candy etc. Here she is making the girls unicorn.

P1000441.jpg

For some reason we never took a photo of the girls with their unicorn

Continued in next post here

We continue round the world getting more stamps, stopped and got Ellie some Disney Crocs and jibbetz which she had wanted for quite a few weeks. When we got to China we decided to do the film which we’d skipped last time and most importantly it was cool!!! We have about a 5 min wait, go into the cinema and as we’re the only ones in our line (you have to stand) I put all our bags down. Now what do you think was in those bags? Yep the unicorn and the stupid lady standing in the row in front of us decides to duck under the bar and she stands on our bags breaking the unicorns neck and knocking the horn off  :rotfl: Now why she had to come under the bar is beyond me and the girls were upset about the unicorn but really it was quite funny how often can you say that your unicorn’s horn was broken off? :rotfl2: As we’re leaving China I comment to DH that we haven’t spotted ZoryLee yet and he’s so pleased so guess who I spotted only a few seconds later :yay:

P1000444.jpg

It was so cool to meet another DISser even though her stalking skills weren’t very good as she walked straight past me  We had a hug and a quick chat, her friends felt the same as David regarding the DIS boards :rotfl2: And we were off again, DH and J did Maelstrom whilst E and I did the Mexico ride. I personally like the new Mexico ride with Donald I found it quite boring and very out dated before! Our FP time for MS was up so we headed there next and after about 5 mins we were orbiting the Earth, even though we did the wimpy green side this ride is great, I always wanted to be an astronaut as a kid and this is probably the closest I’ll get :rotfl2: Our tummies were now rumbling so we headed to the Electric Umbrella where we shared some chicken strips before catching the bus back to CSR for a nice cool off in the pool.

Our evening was pretty boring we caught the bus to DTD where we browsed the huge Disney store, whilst in there the heavens opened and we witnessed our first Florida storm, it was all over within about 20 minutes though and we just looked around the store some more. We ate at EofS after the good recommendations here and they were right it was delicious, we shared 3 meals, a meatball sub, BLT and the Montagu which had beef and turkey. They were all tasty and plenty for the 4 of us, we took the desserts home for breakfast. We then had more than a 20min wait for the bus  and were tucked up in bed by 9.15pm!

Up next can I keep the P&PP a secret??????

Day 2 here

You are just so funny

Disney Jo,, so true and I look it too! Ever notice that you all think I am being funny when I are just telling the pure unvarnished truth?

Hi computor is still messing up ! Haven't been able to connect for 2 days. Anyone know a computor whiz!!:lmao: Loving the report. I have to learn how to post pix1 Can you do it from a Laptop ? Cos I think I want my own!:surfweb:

english rose 47, the only difference I can really think of between a desktop and a laptop is the darned keyboard. I am a very fast typist but not on a laptop. Pain in the ****, ay know??

I am sorry about your computer. What is it doing? Or not doing?

SG/Linda

WooHoo! You met the dream team, way to go! Was Elton there?

Great first day and it included a Dismeet with another Focker, BONUS!

Sorry to hear about your Unicorn's horn,:sad1:

I like EofS it is pretty much a must do for me each trip.

Can't wait to hear about P&PP!!!

I love that the girls got a sucker unicorn. It looks beautiful (even unfinished).

What a great water picture! You captured just the exact moment that the water was coming straight for her! :thumbsup2

And you got dream ears! That was total luck...missed them by that much, then bam! You won!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I can't wait to read more about all of your DIS sightings!

When we got to China we decided to do the film which we’d skipped last time and most importantly it was cool!!!
Did you like the film?? I thought it was pretty good, but needed seats.
Yep the unicorn and the stupid lady standing in the row in front of us decides to duck under the bar and she stands on our bags breaking the unicorns neck and knocking the horn off  :rotfl:
I would have probably eaten it on the way from Japan to China!
we haven’t spotted ZoryLee yet and he’s so pleased so guess who I spotted only a few seconds later :yay:
Yes, families seem to not get this at all and seem to not want their vacations interrupted.
catching the bus back to CSR for a nice cool off in the pool.
Did they like the pool? I thought it was pretty neat!

and were tucked up in bed by 9.15pm!
which was like 3 am for you??

we still had to stash those little beauties safely away :lmao:
Nice job, pal!:thumbsup2

Good Epcot day, huh? And it went pretty close to plan!!

Wow, Great day, but a long line for figment:confused: It has always been a walk-on for us:confused3 So cool that you got meet figment, he wasn't out when we were there. Jimmy would haveloved to see him. I will have to add that to the must do list.

We did the wimpy green side of MS too. It was late so we only had 3 people in our capsule. I ran 2 positions, Jim ran 1 and a girl who spoke no English the third. It was a good thing we had those over-ride commands from Gary Sinese or we may have crashed:scared1:

I love that you were able to get those ears, it must have been such a wonderful surprise since you didn't think you were in time to get them.

How neat that your girls got the unicorn, too bad it got ruined:sad2:

That is awesome that you ran into Li, I kept my eyes open for DISers on my trip but did not see a single one. Oh well, hopefully next time!

Hey Jo
Just catching up, sounds like a great start. That Belle has to be one of the prettiest ones I have seen. Was she at Akerhaus??
Your girls are soo cute, they look just like you:goodvibes
Sorry to hear your unicorn was injured, I dont understand people, why would she step on your bag:confused3
WOOO HOOO for scoring some ears from the Dream Team
A line for figment thats a 1st, I have never seen or heard of a line there:confused3 .

WTH how is this man married to me? :rotfl2: So I explain all about them etc and that is how I won my lanyard in the post for goodness sake! So with me still sulking we walk around the corner, the one just before you’re told which line to stand in and the DT still have an arm full of ears and we get them too :yay: I was so excited whereas most of the people didn’t have a clue about YOAMD and how lucky they were

Hurrah!!! You all look great!

But the girls were lucky again and asked for a unicorn, it was so cool to watch her make this and amazing when she made the twisted horn so clever, all the time she talks about the hot candy, yummy candy etc.

Cool!
Yep the unicorn and the stupid lady standing in the row in front of us decides to duck under the bar and she stands on our bags breaking the unicorns neck and knocking the horn off

What the heck??? Why??? :confused3

but really it was quite funny how often can you say that your unicorn’s horn was broken off?

Now, that is looking at the bright side!:rotfl2:
P1000444.jpg

It was so cool to meet another DISser even though her stalking skills weren’t very good as she walked straight past me

That's awesome!

Wow, sounds like an awesome rest of the day! Since when is shopping boring, though? :lmao: Thanks for the updates, Jo!

english rose 47, the only difference I can really think of between a desktop and a laptop is the darned keyboard. I am a very fast typist but not on a laptop.

Now, see, I have the opposite problem. I've had my laptop for about 2 years, and now when I go plug it into the "station" in the office, which has the mouse, keyboard, printer, external hard drive, etc. connected up, I can't type at all! :rotfl:

The candy lady in China... I thought that was one of the neatest things we did the entire trip. We did not stay long enough nor were we there when she started but I could have watched for hours! How fun to get one!

Yay!! Congrats on the ears!! :cool1:

So all happy with a spring in our steps, well mine anyway, we head over to TT,
How funny is that? I truly don't think my family gets it and how fantastic a Disney Dream really is! I with you there, Jo. I totally get it! ;)

We headed to Figment (a childhood fave) and the line here was enormous too  So we went to meet him instead with no line :yay:
P1000435.jpg
Cute pic, but tell me where in the world is the Figment meet? All I do is go on the train ride and walk thru the pavilion where all the computers are. Did I totally miss something there? :confused3

She was much stricter this time and each family was only allowed one which really is better as more people can have one :) But the girls were lucky again and asked for a unicorn, it was so cool to watch her make this and amazing when she made the twisted horn so clever, all the time she talks about the hot candy, yummy candy etc. Here she is making the girls unicorn.
Same with us. Maddie was lucky enough to be chosen even though we were not in front. We cracked up listening to her. Shiny hot candy, pretty shiny color, Japanese care-a-mell, taste so good. :rotfl: She's quite the entertainer.

Now what do you think was in those bags? Yep the unicorn and the stupid lady standing in the row in front of us decides to duck under the bar and she stands on our bags breaking the unicorns neck and knocking the horn off
Oh no! Our candy animal met a similar fate. :sad2:

As we’re leaving China I comment to DH that we haven’t spotted ZoryLee yet and he’s so pleased so guess who I spotted only a few seconds later :yay:
You mean David wasn't excited to meet more crazy DISers? At least he didn't have to golf with Z! :lmao:

Great update Jo!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Yaaaa you all got a DREAM!!!! I was so not expecting that! Waaahooty and the Ears look so cute on all of you! Sorry you missed TT but seems like you all did a lot anyways! Hey how cool was that meeting someone...I like Zorylee and read her trippie too! (Hey Zorylee...I hope you were traveling with sane people this time who dont yell at you! :rotfl: )
So exactly how hot were you at this point???? Amazingly hot huh? :rolleyes1 I can't wait to hear more Jo!

Shhhhh I was trying to pay back certain people with a cliff hanger

My lips are sealed Jo!

So with me still sulking we walk around the corner, the one just before you’re told which line to stand in and the DT still have an arm full of ears and we get them too :yay:
P1000433.jpg

:cool1: Yay Jo!!! They looked so pretty too, I was very jealous. I didn't even notice them until one of the girls pointed them out either.

we head over to TT, now remember we were having an earlyish day due to jetlag and that the original plan was to go get FP’s before Soarin but it was too hot, well we get there at about 11am and the FP return time was 4pm  we were going to be long gone by then and as the standby was about 40mins we had to miss one of our favourite rides at WDW

I couldn't believe that TT already had such a wait and the FPs were at 4pm.:sad2: Let me tell you people they were there pretty early because it was around 1pm when Jo spotted me in China later that day.

So what to do? What to do? We headed to Figment (a childhood fave) and the line here was enormous too  So we went to meet him instead with no line

I can't believe there was a long line for Figment :confused3 . Usually there's like zero wait. That's so cool that you met him though. You guys look so cute in the pic with your shiny Dream Ears.

oh and a bit of stalking Before I left I found out that another TFW DISser would be in the same parks as me for the first 3 days so I was keeping a look out for her

Hmmmm who could that be.... :rolleyes1

Japan where it was only 20 minutes until the candy lady,

I've never even heard of the candy lady!! Something to look forward to next trip. ;) :thumbsup2

We have about a 5 min wait, go into the cinema and as we’re the only ones in our line (you have to stand) I put all our bags down. Now what do you think was in those bags? Yep the unicorn and the stupid lady standing in the row in front of us decides to duck under the bar and she stands on our bags breaking the unicorns neck and knocking the horn off

Nooooo!! :sad1: Darn lady, I hope she was cursed the rest of her day.

As we’re leaving China I comment to DH that we haven’t spotted ZoryLee yet and he’s so pleased so guess who I spotted only a few seconds later :yay:

P1000444.jpg

It was so cool to meet another DISser even though her stalking skills weren’t very good as she walked straight past me

Wooohoooo!!!!! :yay: Ok it's true what Jo said, I was walking right by her. :sad2:

So here's my side of the story:

We'd just finished in Norway and we're headed into the China pavillion when all of a sudden I hear "Zorylee?" In this loverly British accent and I turn to my right and lo and behold it's Jo smiling right at me!!!

I was so excited I said "Oh my God, Jo!!!" Gave her a hug:hug: , which I think caught her off guard (sorry Jo, didn't mean to scare you) I was just so happy to finally meet another DISer. We started chatting and her girls pointed to their heads and said "Look!" and it's then that I notice the Dream Ears and they told me the story behind that and they also told me about their Princess Breakfast that they had that morning and showed off the Focker Lanyards and LGMH's that Tracey had made for them. They were the sweetest things. :cutie:

Meanwhile Jo's hubby was just hovering in the background whilst my group was in the opposite background just watching all the crazy's talking as if we've known each other for years. :rotfl:

We took some pics (I don't have mine uploaded Jo) and bid each other goodbye, Jo was on her way back to the resort because they were all a bit tired and jet lagged.

I really was looking for other DISers, but I did not see anyone with LGMH's or Focker lanyards. I just have no luck finding DISers, but I am so glad Jo spotted me. :goodvibes

Jo the stye/cyst on your eye didn't look bad in person, I hardly noticed it and Jo was so sweet! I'm so glad we met Jo! :goodvibes

whilst in there the heavens opened and we witnessed our first Florida storm, it was all over within about 20 minutes though

That darn storm! I remember that storm, we were still in Epcot when it decided to rain.

So glad you had a great day Jo! Can't wait to hear more. popcorn::
