He then flipped over into the crab position and stayed like that for ages  David and I just kept looking at each other trying not to laugh too much.
That is totally strange! :confused3

A little while later S’Late her DH and children turn up and we get shown to our table which was for 9 :yay: They’d managed to sit us all together :thumbsup2 Our waitress was nice, not too strict which actually was pretty good, well I thought so anyway!
They are pretty good at getting big tables here! Good for you!

I ordered the strawberry milkshake which was absolutely gorgeous, so thick and really yummy, it was huge too. For appetiser I had the onion rings which were enormous but I did get some help eating them :lmao: For main course I ordered the pot roast, this was the first time I’d ever had it and OMG the meat was beautiful so tender but the veggies on top were so hard
I love strawberry milkshakes. I heard the pot roast was good but I don't like veggies at all!

I think we were a bit of a disappointment to S’Late’s DH as we weren’t into Star Trek and Monty Python but we found other things to chat about!
Are they big Trekkies? :rotfl2: Monty Python is funny but you probably don't get that British humour. :rolleyes1

The heavens had opened again but we were prepared and after lots of hugs we braved the rain and found the bus home, we had been so lucky with the weather this trip but it was still a bit sad leaving our final park on our final day dodging the puddles!
HA! I told you you would be a bit sad leaving. See? I know it all. :cool1:

I am Jo's #1 fan!!!! Take that all the rest of you! :snooty:

My own TR is languishing cause I am too busy reading yours, and a few others. I have to post again tonight cause I only have 10 days left before we leave on our next trip and I do not want to get them confused. :dance3:

Glad to hear that IASW is not going down for the count and I promise to do my best to get a pic of the British dolls this trip. I have a dear friend who loves Tony. I like the birds who look like they might throw their balls at us at any given moment. I am sort of odd that way.

Love the monorail. Well, what else am I supposed to respond to that?
:rotfl2:

Looking forward to hearing about your next DIS meet.
Good

Aw, Jo. I can't believe you're almost finished:sad2: What a great attitude you all have leaving the parks. I always whine and cry, even if I know I'll be going back in a month.

We did 50's once and our waitress nearly ignored us. My FIL even tried lying about washing his hands...saying that the soap in the bathroom was green instead of white, but she didn't care. I was secretly hoping he'd get yelled at.:rotfl2:
I know Kate, one more installment and that's me done, sorry but :woohoo: :rotfl2: Oh no too bad about your waitress at 50's our's was enough without being too much if YKWIM?

Do you drive cars like Mr. Bean? :rotfl2:
No :rotfl2: Well I suppose a few people do :rotfl2:

No tears? But then again you were on to yet ANOTHER park!
Yep!

That is totally strange! :confused3
It was incredibly weird!!!

They are pretty good at getting big tables here! Good for you!
Thanks!

The milkshake was gorgeous and Monty Python was before our time, we're just youngsters you know!!!!! And we weren't really sad just thought I'd better write that we were ;) :rotfl2:

Thanks for reading Linda, I'll be finished before you leave so no muddling up :thumbsup2

Off back to TT and this time all together :thumbsup2 On the way out we let the girls explore the cars a bit, the American cars are quite different to ours, for a start they’re much larger!!!!

I noticed when I was in Stockholm once that the cars were so tiny, but then I saw the tiny little streets and :scared1:

On our way out I spotted Elton, yeah I know Elton :lmao: Now if it wasn’t for my American DIS friends I would never have know who he was and for those of you that don’t he’s the Dream Team CM who is on the US adverts. Well he was escorting some lucky guests into TT via the back door, wonder if that was all they won or if it was part of a big prize :confused3

What, you didn't follow him? Stalk him?:cool2: Find out what was going on?:confused3 Bad Diser, Bad:rotfl2:

I treated myself to 2 fridge magnets, yep I pushed the boat out didn’t I? :rotfl2:

What a big spender you are;) :rotfl2:

Now the most bizarre thing happened, a man probably about 60 walked up to the pool, he had obviously just arrived, well he started doing handstands at the side of the pool, he must have decided he didn’t like that area so went to a grassy area the other side of the pool and did a few handstands again. He then flipped over into the crab position and stayed like that for ages  David and I just kept looking at each other trying not to laugh too much. Well it didn’t stop there, the man moved to the pool, he was still dressed in normal shorts not swim ones and didn’t have a towel, he stood right on the edge of the pool backwards and did a back flip  So much for the no diving signs, I suppose it didn’t say anything about back flips :rotfl2: He repeated this about 3 or 4 times before shaking himself off and leaving!!!! Literally a few minutes later the girls returned with the mugs and they really didn’t believe us :rotfl:

I got nothing for this:confused3

Oh well it didn’t matter we had loads of fun as usual although you can’t be silly when there are others in the car can you :rotfl2:
Well, you CAN, but it might look pretty weird. :lmao:

I treated myself to 2 fridge magnets, yep I pushed the boat out didn’t I? :rotfl2:

Hmmm, who wins here? I bought myself only ONE thing, but it may have been more expensive than your magnets. It was a keychain.

The time had come to leave Epcot for the final time, but honestly there were no tears, I really think having the 2 weeks there and knowing we will definitely be back stops you from being upset, or maybe I’m just hard and have no feelings :rotfl:
Yep, that must be it! :rotfl2:

So much for the no diving signs, I suppose it didn’t say anything about back flips

That's probably true. Following the letter of the law, that.

Unlike SOME people, I'm not a veggie hater, ;) but I don't like it when they're cooked yet still rock solid.

They were so hard it took forever to chew them :scared:

Hey don't encourage DM  :rotfl:

 It is too funny that Jess was afraid she would get scolded so made David switch spots with her.

My brothers are big Month Python fans, we especially love the Quest for the Holy Grail. :rotfl2:

That guy at the pool sounds very odd, I don't know if I would have been able to contain my laughter.

Jo, I have faith that YOU will be finished. Whether or not I am is quite another matter. :cool1:

I once asked my doctor where all those skinny folks kept all their innards cause it sure do not seem as if they have any room in there for a kidney let alone the other vitals. He informed me that large people are the anomaly and that their organs expand to fit the space. In case you are wondering where I am going with this - (so am I) it is your conversation about the tiny Stockholm cars. They have a small country, small streets and I am betting that their folks are not all that big either. Having all this huge country, as we Americans do, we have just adapted to our environment and expanded and thus require large everything. Not necessarily a good thing but is it our 'manifest destiny". :rotfl:

SG/off to read to little ones.

Well he was escorting some lucky guests into TT via the back door, wonder if that was all they won or if it was part of a big prize :confused3
I'm just gonna guess.... bet they were recipients of a stupid certificate.
Not that I'm still bitter about that :rolleyes1

Can you blame them?! :rotfl:

Awww, you all look so happy!

Oh, I forgot to quote the pics, but Jess looks AWFULLY excited behind the wheels of those cars - what's the driving age in the UK?! ;)

 It is too funny that Jess was afraid she would get scolded so made David switch spots with her.
I know bless her, she was fine if she meant to get told off but not for really being told off :confused3 :rotfl2:

My brothers are big Month Python fans, we especially love the Quest for the Holy Grail. :rotfl2: .
I've never watched any of them

That guy at the pool sounds very odd, I don't know if I would have been able to contain my laughter.
He was very weird, obviously on some convention or something!

I was wondering Linda :rotfl2: And you're probably right you very rarely see a large scandanavian, maybe it's their healthy diets as well though!

I'm just gonna guess.... bet they were recipients of a stupid certificate.

Nope not bitter at all :rotfl2:

 It's OK though as you have to be 17 here so quite a few more years :thumbsup2

We've lucked out the time we went not to have to be fed or get in trouble... we did however see a guy at a neighbor table get in trouble a few times.... lol

Really sad your TR is almost over... really enjoying...
