We are looking to book a resort package for four adults but really need 3 beds since adult siblings do not want to share a bed, lol! Looking at a value or moderate resort. Is this possible? The savings booking one vs two rooms is quite significant.

I think one of the moderates has a trundle type bed, one of the Port Orleans. Not sure it would fit an adult. We have used Aerobeds for my teens on trips, to avoid them sleeping in same bed. And, of course, the Deluxes usually have 2 beds, and daybeds.

A suite at Art of Animation would be great, you would love the 2 full bathrooms. (or an suite at All Star Music). 2 value rooms would work. 4 adults REALLY benefit from having 2 full bathrooms, which all these also offer. There is no "cheap" way to do this, on property.

3 real beds in one room is not possible in most resorts - definitely not moderates or value. Options include a family suite in All Star Music - one queen size bed, full-size sofa bed, twin-size sleeper chair in the living area, 2 bathrooms. But, that is close to the price of 2 regular rooms in the values. Art of Animation is similar, but way more than the cost of 2 value rooms.

Moderates, I don't think there is anything with a 3rd bed, some rooms have a child-size murphy bed. You cannot book those directly, they give them out to families of 5 first, then randomly.

You may need to look at villas at Old Key West, Saratoga Springs. But, again the 3rd sleeping surface is a sofabed. Unless, you bump up to a 2-bedroom and that is usually more than the price of 2 rooms at moderate.

I find that if you put in 5 in the search for a room instead of 4, you will come up with rooms with a 3rd sleeping surface.

Actually, at POR if you book a Preferred room it will have a Murphy Bed no matter if you have 5 or not.

At CBR, there is no way to ensure you get a room with a Murphy Bed without having 5 in your party.

OKW will have one king bed, one queen sleeper sofa and one twin sleeper chair in the one bedroom villa. BLT and AKV will have the same, but BLT and AKV-KV will also have a second full bathroom. SSR won't have the sleeper chair. At a DVC resort or a Family suite you won't pay the charge for two extra adults (guessing the third and fourth adult you noted are 18 or older).

The extra charge for the two adults in the room will destroy most of the savings on one room. IMO, you need two rooms or stay offsite in two rooms that are more affordable. You could get a condo at Bonnet Creek for less than value onsite.

Or, look for a good discount at the Contemporary Garden Wing. That'll be 2 queens and a single sofa sleeper that's pretty decent. Poly and GF have the same setup but generally cost more. BC, YC and BWI don't guarantee a sofa bed.

AoA family suite :) There is a queen bed, double table/bed, and double pull out couch. The two bathrooms were great for my family of 5 with two college kids, and one high schooler.
