Founders names at Kidani- have you seen them?

Has anyone who previewed Kidani seen anything like the tapestry that was supposed to be made with all the founders' names on it? We got necklaces a few months ago as founders, but it was never clear to me what was going to be done about the promised tapestry.

I have heard by reading these threads that the tapestry was to be changed into a robe with our names on it, but I haven't heard anything further.

Hold on here. I was told by two different Managers from different departments, DVC and DVD, that the tapestry was changed to a robe. They even read me a description of the darn thing.

We paid extra to have our name in 3 inch letters on the breast pocket.

This is not what I envisioned at all of the tapestry/robe. I thought it would be placed more prominantly in the lobby and larger. Just an impression from a photo though. Maybe my perception will change once we see it in person.

Same here! It is buried against a wall so that it looks like it would be difficult to even get to it to see it! Is there even a sign or something explaining what it is and who the people are who are listed on it?

It looks like some sort of ceremonial robe rather than a tapestry, or rather robes since there are two of them. They look like they have a neck opening and armholes. No pocket though so you should ask for a refund!

Based on another post, they are hanging in the library.

yes you can...when I uploaded the pics they transferred small.

They are located in the library to the right of the lobby. They are 4x8 feet. They are not in the best of locations, but the lobby is very small compared to the lobby at the lodge. We were not overly impressed with Kidani, but we only seen the lobby, pool, and savannah, and the gift shop not the rooms. We honestly expected larger areas than what are there. If anyone is interested in a larger file of the pics of the tapestry pm me and I will email it to you. We were able to go line by line and see where our name was on it.

No sign at this point. Maybe there will be one there eventually. You can see the names, but it was hard for us to find our name, we took the pic and came back to look at it line by line on our computer
