Recently I was doing some scrapbooking of old Disney trips (I am YEARS behind) and found multiple tickets partially used. :dance3: I know they are still valid for the days left on them, but some of them have statements on the back saying not valid at parks opening after a specified date.

Can any CM out there verify for me that I can (or cannot) use them at any park, ie AK? I, of course, would have no problem using them up at MK but hate carrying multiple cards if I don't need to.

Hope this isn't too confusing....:rolleyes1

Old tickets are only good at the parks that were open when you bought the tickets. If AK wasn't open when you bought those tickets you can't use them for AK.

My mother had some days left over on non expiring hopper tickets from 18 years ago. They swapped them out to updated tickets to use in the turnstyles but there was no mention of not being able to use them at AK. There is nothing on the ticket to indicate that as well.

I can only tell you what they told use and what they allowed us to do.
(and hers have it written right on them)

There is no longer any restriction on the use of old tickets at DAK (or any other of the theme parks.)

That restriction was only for a very limited time and expired years ago.

The restrictions were only in place for a short time after a new park was opened. An old ticket is now valid at all four Theme Parks even if says they are not. And if they were pre-magnetic stripe, or the mag stripe has been damaged, any ticket or Guest Relations window can reissue a current ticket with the same remaining entitlements, and it will say noting about not valid at a specific park.

Thanks CHESHIRE FIGMENT for verifying that for me!!! I was actually hoping you would see the question and respond. pixiedust: Can't wait to use up my "lost" eleven days worth of tickets......
