She had Parkinson's! No one knew this (not my mom nor my aunts). As my aunt said, they just never talked about such things back then.
 
According to my friend whose dad had it, there may be a genetic link, but I just find it interesting to learn this stuff. I also learned where she and many other family members are buried. The caretaker is sending me info and a map to find the family plot.
 
I didn't find out until I was a grown woman in my 20s that I had a first cousin with Down Syndrome. She lived in a group home - she must have had some other issues, too. It was never mentioned when I was growing up.
 

Also found the receipt from when she was in the hosp. for 2 days prior to her death: $79. Medication wa $3.40!
