Today at work I was chatting with a fellow worker and WDW came up in our conversation. Instead of the usual "Don't you get tired of going there?" I got "Oh, I love Disney World and have you ever gone on the DC? I would love to hear more about your Disney timeshare!" It was just so refreshing!:rotfl:

She wants me to bring my DVC info in next week! She told me that she didn't even get to go to Disney until she was 32 yrs. old! She said, "I think it's just such a magical place!":cloud9:

Anyway, I am so excited I found a Disney friend at work who doesn't roll their eyes at me when the word is mentioned!

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. We have a couple of friends/relatives who are on the same Disney wavelength (although I still think we're more 'obsessed' :lmao: ). One family that we are close to bought DVC a year or so after we did so it should be fun in the future to go at the same time. They're definitely out there (Disney people, that is), sometimes it's just tough to find them :thumbsup2 !

One guy at work is pretty Disneyesque, and one gal is a fan. I was talking to the gal at our staff meeting about Small World (in DLR) being down for maybe longer than expected, because she was trying to plan a trip but can't miss SW..and I said it was down to refurb so it wouldn't bog down because of heavier Americans, and the guy..(who is extremly Pooh-ish) said."Hey! That was my brother and me! We had to get out and help push the boat." (his other family members are also Pooh-ish.

Sometimes I get the "don't you get tired of it" conversation at work...but whenever anyone is thinking about going to WDW or DLR, guess who they come talk to? ;)

Also, to the OP from West Linn, OR: hello from Vancouver, WA (see, there are other Northwesterners who have been bitten by the WDW bug!) :hippie:
