Are the FOTL entrances obvious or will we have to walk around the entire rides looking for them? I've read that some are exit rows, some merge with regular lines, some are totally seperate. How do you know where to go??

The Express Line is quite obvious. You won't be hunting for it. There will be an attendant who will look at your room key. Sometimes they scan the key other times not. Anyway, don't worry about it, you will know exactly where to go and it will be fabulous - I promise you. Once you've experienced fotl, you can't go back to standing in line. My advice to everyone is - if you are planning to do Disney and Universal - do Disney first because once you've gone to the front of the line, you are spoiled forever!

Have fun!

Thanks Antmaril!!

I've also heard that the FOTL entrances aren't themed as well as the regular lines. We only have FOTL for 2 days - Our other 3 days we will try and use express passes when/if we can get them. Are there any rides we should use the regular lines for (time permitting) so as not to miss the theming or it doesn't really matter?

If I had to pick one,, I would pick Dueling Dragons. But I love Castles :) The long queue here has the best theming I have seen, including the queueing area at WDW.

As for the rest, if you are limited on time,, go FOTL.

To be honest, I don't pay too much attention to the theming while in line - however, I am a 52 year old woman and I just don't want to wait in a long line :)

On many of the rides, you do get the theming. For example, MIB and Spiderman. I'm not an expert on this, so I can't really comment. All I know is going to the fotl is fabulous and I will never do Universal without it - not for even one day.

I hope you have a great trip!

Their are signs, you will most likely see them

Feel free to ask anymore questions,

Dueling Dragons is one that you'll want to go through the main line at some point. Also Mummy and Men in Black. Those are the 3 that I can think of offhand.

The Express is obvious on most rides, but on Dueling Dragons it gets a bit confusing inside and is different at times (at least I think it's sometimes different unless I'm really confused...).
Just look for the Express sign or ask a CM.

Apparentyl you dont get a lot of the ride if you dont wait in the Mummy line

I don't think i ever found DD express line only the sign:(

The express line for DD is a bit tricky.

You know where the lockers are located? And that you go to the right to get into the regular line? Well, you don't go that way at all for express pass. After you put your stuff in a locker,, go to the left instead,, toward the gift shop, and the exit for DD,, walk up the exit area,, and you will see the express sign over the Castle, just keep going, and once you get past there, you will keep going and I believe you are veered to the right by a cast member. It's the most confusing express pass line I think.

Hope you find it next time ;)
