FOTL ticket holder ideas

Hi,

I was just wondering what people use to hold their FOTL ticket/room key. I thought we'd get some lanyards but should they go in some type of plastic covering first before being hung on the lanyard?

We just got back from US. We use lanyards with the clips and ask at the front desk for them to punch a hole in the key cards. We did scan our cards twice, so this makes it easier if you have to scan your card and also easier for the cm's to read your card.

You can buy lanyards at the parks. Sorry, I can't remember the prices, but I believe that they were between 6 to 8 dollars. They have 2 types of lanyards: one was the lanyard with plastic holder, and the other was lanyard connected to a wallet. We purchased the first type and it worked perfectly for us. You might want to check at either Office Max or Office Depot to see if they sell individual lanyards with a holder at a lower cost. I hope this helps you!

I have a zipper pocket on my fanny pack that I use when I go in with the pack, although I must say that on my last few park excursions I have traveled a bit lighter. I have a sunblocking shirt that has velcro closure breast pockets and I often put my AP, room key and a couple of buck in that pocket.

I bought badge holders from Office Max. It has an adjustable lanyard attached to clear pocket holder, it even has a change holder section with a zipper in the back. They were about $3.50 each.

Thanks to all of you for your help. They were all great ideas. I'll have to start searching the stores for this stuff. Does anyone know the exact measurements of the room cards so in case I find some sort of plastic holder I'll know if it will fit.

Hi Deanne!

The room cards are 3-3/8" x 2-1/8", exactly the same as a standard credit card.
