When you are touring the parks, where do you keep your fotl/room keys?? We will have 4 adults & 3 kids and I am the" in charge of everything person"...how can I enjoy myself without worrying about losing the keys??? HELP. (Man, I sound so pathetic.)

On our last trip we purchased lanyards, once we checked in, the girl at the front desk punched holes in our room keys, then we wore them around our necks!! They were very easy to keep up with, and easy for the ride attendants to scan!!!

Here are two pictures of the 97 cent walmart lanyard:

I prefer the lanyards found in all the Universal stores though, because of the zipper pocket for change and other pockets for credit cards and dollar bills.

I have both the Walmart ones and the lanyard from Universal. I seldom use the Walmart ones but use the Universal one whenever I go to the parks. It saves me from carrying a purse.

I used a travel wallet with a neck strap to keep up with all of our passes, etc... Most of the time, I just slipped the wallet into our backpack but I've seen many people wearing them in the parks. I bought mine at Target (on the suitcase aisle) for about $10.

When we were at Disney World in August, I saw a lanyard that had a plastic credit card size pouch hanging on it. It would be perfect for room keys or park passes. I wish I would have purchased one when I saw it.

The lanyard idea is so great. So the front desk at Royal Pacific can do this ? Yeah! Thanks so much. What a great idea!!! I cant wait to go .

If you lose your room key, you can go to the front desk and get replacements. Just show a picture ID so they know it's you.

Hi, Yes, we stayed at the RPR, and the lady at the front desk when we checked in punched holes in our room keys for us. Of course we asked her to do it......... and she did. Then we slipped the lanyards thru the hole, and each person wore them around the neck, even our little one- age 4!! This is such a good idea, no one has to keep up with them. On most rides, the attendant will scan your card as well, and this makes it very very easy........ since you don't have to keep taking it in and out of something........ OH, someone said something about the plastic holder on the lanyard........ we didn't have that, with that you'd probably have to take the card in and out to scan........... either way, it's handy!!!!

I bought and used the lanyard that Phamton had pictures of. The only thing I didn't like was that the strap was supposed to velcro around the back of your neck and I was afraid that if it got caught on something I'd lose it. I took their strap off and used the plastic protector on a regular lanyard with a clip. It worked great. My kids kept fighting over who'd be the "Card Keeper"!

I just tied a knot in mine instead of using the velcro.
