We are taking the 7 day DCL cruise in April and because of problems getting a flight home we are staying 2 extra nights in Orlando. Ordinarily, we would stay at WDW but since we just came back and are planning on a trip in June (Star Wars weekends, hopefully!) we thought we'd try Universal this time.

We've never stayed on Universal property but the FOTL passes seem like a great perk! Here's my question....can my father use my FOTL pass while I wait off the ride? DH may have to go home early so it would just be me, my DS-5 and DD who will just be turning 1. My parents own a condo down the street from Universal (off Kirkman) and won't be staying on site with us. If I have to stay off a ride with DD, can my father use my pass to take DS, who will have his own pass, on some rides? Ordinarily, I wouldn't even try it but since it would be just me and 2 young kids, I need my father's help. DS is an adventurer (&tall) and wants to go on ALL the rides. Obviously there are many rides DD will not be able to go on.
Thanks for any advice!

It has your name on the card. So if you are a female and the person you are lending it to is a male and the employee reads the name, access could be denied.

If it is only going to be you and your two little kids in the room, I would suggest that you tell them at the front desk, when checking in, that your father will be staying with you. Then he will have his own card.

I agree add him to your room as u can have 5 in a room that means 5 FOTL passes at no extra charge

Can you use the FOTL priviledge on the day you are checking out. We are only staying one night and the day we check out is the day we want to go to the parks. :flower1:

Yeah u can use on day of checkout till parks close

there is an extra charge for having 5 in the room if there are two adults (over 17) in the room already.

Actually, just save your husbands card and have your father use that card since it sounds like your father will be there after your husband has left. Or if your husband will not be staying that the Universal hotel at all, put your fathers name on the reservation and get a card for him.

That's what I would do. You are allowed two adults and that's what you'll have that day.
BTW, on our last PBH trip in Dec. my name was on all 5 of our cards.

I agree with Cheryl above. When I stayed at the RPR and the PBH in October my name ( as I booked the reservation ) was on all the room cards. The only difference was the fact that the children's cards were not " chargable "

You will have no problem, and as said above if its just you and two kids in the room add your dads name onto the reservation as there may be a ride you all wish to go on, have a great holiday. :flower1: :flower: :flower1:
