FOTL Passes and Staying on Site

I was thinking about getting a room on site for one night just to get the FOTL passes. My question is though we want to go to both parks, two different days, when on-site do you get FOTL passes for both your check-in date and check-out date? This might work out cheaper for my family instead of paying the $40/pp pd. And if so, how many passes will we get? Thanks. :thumbsup2

I would highly suggest you do that. We had FOTL privileges on both ends of our stay. It was wonderful! A couple of weeks ago, we were able to go on MIB 4 times in a hour while the standby line was running 50 minutes. Plus, the resorts are beautiful. I cannot express how impressed I was by everything. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

That is correct. You're FOTL starts as soon as you're handed your room keys and expires at park closing on the day you check out. If you're room isn't ready when you check in, you'll still be given room keys for FOTL.

You don't even have to use the room. One group that was staying at Disney booked a room at the RPR, checked in, got 4 magic keys, went to the parks, and never went to the room.

Since the other stuff was already answered, I'll answer the last question. For most rooms you can get a max of 5 keys per room, any combination of adult and children.

However, remember that if you have more than 2 adults (18 or over) in your room, you will be charged an extra fee for each adult over 18. And the cards do specify on them whether they are a child or adult card.

Hope this helps.

We stayed at the HRH just for the priviledge of the FOTL pass. We went right after July 4th, so it was PACKED!! And let me tell you, we've heard many nasty remarks from people who did not have FOTL passes. It got to be so annoying that our friend would yell right back, go get a room at the Hard Rock!
If we were to go again during peak time, we would definitely stay at an on-site hotel. It is worth it!

You guys do know that you can do a VIP tour and not have to wait in a single line, right?

Just checking.

It doesn't say that the VIP tour includes admission. With the tour price and admission, it would be much cheaper for a family of 5 like mine to get the room and use FOTL.
