I know that your FOTL pass is connected with your room key. Since, you normally have 2 room keys, do they both work as FOTL passes? I am trying to figure out if my husband and son can use the pass on rides they would like to do, and if I can take the smaller children to do something else and also be able to use the FOTL pass. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Your room key has your name on it. Your son will have a C for child on his. Each room member has their own key with their own name. Each person needs to show their own card/key to get FOTL on a ride.

They do things just a bit differently at the Universal Loews hotels.

There will be a room key issued to each person registered in the room. So, not only will you and your husband have a room key, each of your children will too.

Each room key will have the person's name, whether they are an adult or child and the dates of your stay imprinted on them.

Each person in your party will need their room key to enter the Express line.

So, it shouldn't be a problem at all with your husband and son doing one set of rides while you take the smaller kids on others. :teeth:

ALOT of times when me and my family used our room keys, they wouldnt really even look. We would just show a couple of keys and run through. :rotfl:
Alot of times one of us left our room keys, but they didnt notice.:ssst:

Any tips on how to not lose the child's key/pass?

I keep my kids passes in the front pocket of my fanny pack. They are the only thing in that pocket, so I can just pull them out quickly, show them, and put them right back as we are walking down the express line.

You could also get one of those around the neck type things with a wallet thing on the end. You'll know what I mean when you get there, lol, they're like necklaces with a wallet on the end.

A lanyard would be a good idea...just make sure to tuck into your shirt before riding a coaster.

I'm always extra careful with my room key and AP in my lanyard, so I take the lanyard off my neck and attach it to my belt buckle on roller coasters and put it in my pocket. Always better safe then sorry.
