CCV is being renovated starting in May and continuing through September. No one really knows what they will look like. The sofa bed is supposed to be replaced by the Murphy bed, but still no small under TV pull down bed, like in the BRV studios.

Thank God I hope they add a little more flavor 🐿

I haven't stayed at boulder ridge yet, I've only stayed at CCV and my wife and I both didn't like the rooms. How would you compare them to boulder ridge? Our reasons for not liking them is we thought they were too small and the themeing was lackluster. We wanted a more camping or outdoors theme and felt more like a dorm room

I agree! I am happy about the Murphy bed, the sofa beds were awful, even with the "egg crate" thing that housekeeping brought. They did a nice job with BRV, so I'm hopeful!

Do you need a car or golf cart to stay at these? Would you be miserable there without either?

It depends if you’re ok with busses. I would be miserable. I would need a cart at least. This is how I decked out my cart last Christmas …

It depends if you’re ok with busses. I would be miserable. I would need a cart at least. This is how I decked out my cart last Christmas …

I don’t really mind busses most of the time. As long as they are frequently scheduled and consistent with their schedules.

When we went last month the cast members were super nice, efficient and helpful, making sure you get on the right bus because there are several that go to different places and it's confusing if you've never been there. That was the main one by hoop de doo. The one by the pool at night there's no one there and it's uncovered, kind of looks abandoned, that one took longer and no one was there but there's a map. I didn't think it took longer than any other resort buses actually they seem to have more running. The kidani and Riviera ones took us longer at night.

My cabin in the 2800 loop - I prefer this loop as it's got more old growth woods and tree cover compared to the 2300 and 2500 loops:

Was it quiet in that area? I can’t tell from the map if there are any main roads nearby?

That's a pretty big loop, so it's mostly quiet with a few exceptions. If you're right at the beginning or end of the loop, you're near the main road, so it will be a little noisier with busses and cars. When I was there, 2700 loop was under construction, so the higher number cabins that backed up to the 2700 loop would hear daytime construction noise - where my cabin was, it was near the left back side, and I didn't really hear any construction or road noise. During the late morning or day, the service carts and occasional backup beeps can be heard, and my cabin was right near the horse trail, so occasional late morning caravans of horses would pass by where I could hear some of them talking. I picked back-of-loop specifically for the quiet.
