Fort Wilderness

I am planning my 26th Disney Trip for Thankgiving 2003 and its my first time staying in the park...can you believe it...my question is (or are) codes where can i find them, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on staying in the Fort Winderness campground we are renting a cabin. thanks

Welcome to the boards. Fort Wilderness is wonderful. You will love the cabins. It is so peaceful there. It is great having the option to cook in if you want. Plus, housekeeping will run your dishwasher for you. If you have little ones they will love the petting farm and I believe you can still visit the stable where they keep the draft horses. The buffet dinner at Trails End is great. Of course Hoop Dee Doo Revue is always fun too if you want to splurge one night and have a foot stomping hand clapping time. We love the peacefulness of Fort Wilderness. I am excited for you. Look for codes on Mousesavers.com and enjoy your trip.

Again - keep checking mousesavers.com for codes. They will probably not be out for a while. I think I got ours in late August/early September last year for mid Nov. (maybe even later). What I always do is book what I want & then wait to see if a code comes out. If it does I call back, give them my confirmation # & ask them if I can use the code to get a better rate.

BTW - FW is awesome. We absolutely love it there. There is so much to do & it is so peaceful. The cabins are great - so roomy. Have a great time & keep your fingers crossed for a code!
