Fort Wilderness to Epcot via WS entrance

We are going to Epcot NYE, and will only be going to WS. I'm wondering how inconvenient it would be to take the bus to the Boardwalk and enter through the WS entrance. How long will the bus transfer at TTC take? I'm not very healthy, and I would like to cut down on as little walking as possible. I know all the ways to get from Fort Wilderness to the main entrance to Epcot. Thanks for the info.
