I'm writing a book on Walt Disney World Railroads, and a key chapter is the Fort Wilderness RR that ran back in 1973-1977! I'm looking for photos of the railroad during that time for the book. Each photo would be labeled with the photographer's name. You can post or send me a private message if you could help.

Well you came to the right place. There is a website:

If you go there, you are going to find more information about the Fort Wilderness Railroad than you could ever imagine. Oh, and there are TONS of pictures on that site. It is without a doubt the most detailed collection of photos/info and what have you on the Fort Wilderness Railroad. There is also a very active forum community, they would probably be able to help you out tremendously.

Thanks for the great advice and suggestions!

While the Fort Wilderness RR web site has a lot of great photos, I need to be able to identify and contact the photographer of the picture. That's so I can get permission to publish for copyright reasons. That hasn't worked so far for that web site.

I'm hoping some folks that vacationed there during those years might have some photos sitting in the closet!!
