We are taking a trip to WDW Nov24- Dec 1 this year, as of right now we are staying one night at Fort Wilderness in a Cabin. (there will be 4 adults and 2 kids.) Then we are transfering over to BCV for the rest of the stay. We have never stayed here before and would like to try it. We would also like to try the Nick Hotel also. We are renting a car for one night, and we will also only be staying in either resort for only one night. Which would you chose or if you have stayed in either which do you prefer. Thanks for the help.

You need to consider the age of the kids, weather for swimming, going to the parks etc.. My kids 4,5,9, really enjyed Nick. Dgd 11, was ok with it. Ds,13, just wanted to stay in the room.

For one night I would pick Nick Hotel. It's a very fun (albeit crazy) atmosphere for kids. We stayed there for two nights in 2005 and my kids are still dying to go back.
