This picture is from the Microsoft Virtual Earth program, and I swear that the pilot that took this picture somehow timed it so even with a Magic Kingdom boat sitting there, not a single soul is visible.

This is false advertising!!!

There appears to be no life at all in that pic. No fish, no ducks, no birds and no humans! It also looks like not a single boat was even rented. We need to find out what day this is so we can hit the parks with no crowds.

Exactly, somehow they captured the perfect time and date at the Fort in which you will never have to wait in line or deal with a crowd. Where all the hammocks are empty, where you can pick any boat your heat desires, and yachts magically appear to whisk you away to fantasy lands.

We need Tri-Circle-D to investigate and find out when this mystical time is!!

I "think" by the position of the shadows, this was taken on a winter afternoon .....or, maybe 4th of July....or, maybe....

Still very odd for NO ONE to be around!!!!!

Yea, the Microsoft Virtual Earth pictures are much more recent, and they have them from 4 different angles from a plane. It's awesome when you're looking at stuff in Disney.

P.S. Also try looking up your home address. They just added pictures of my house last year, the pictures from the planes, it's pretty cool to check it out. They still don't have a lot of places mapped, but it's worth trying to check it out!

This is puzzling!

Looking around on the link you posted, it is clearly winter time, as the leaves are off of the Cypress trees. Based on the shadows, I would say it is early in the morning. But, even then, if a boat is there, there should be people there. I am stumped. (For the moment).

It is winter. The trees are bare and there is no one at the FW pool. You can pan over to MK and there are no Christmas decorations, so it is not December. People are in the park, so it's after 9:00. The parking lots of WL and CR are half empty....

So, if you were there in January - look for your camper

Well, not all the picture flights take place at the same time, even the different angles are taken at different times, so you can't really use other pictures to determine when it was taken.

The thing that throws me the most is the fact that there is a boat there, but I'm thinking probably in mid January when it's at it's most dead.

Chris- How did you capture that photo and get it onto photobucket? I have wanted to do that before, and have not been able to do it. There are some hidden buildings around the Fort that I want to investigate, and these types of photos would help with the story.

Well, just go to the link I provided above. I then just used MS Paint to crop the picture out, and then posted to Photobucket.
