Fort Wilderness Christmas

Hi! Super excited we will be able to go to Disney Thanksgiving week Mon and Tues nights! We've never been at Christmas before! I know the parks will be crazy. I'm hoping to tour some resorts, including the fort wilderness family decorations! I have a couple of questions...

Will the decorations be set up already? I know the parks will be ready, but didn't know about the family sites at FW.

Do you drive, walk, or rent go carts or something? How far is the walk? Will we be able to drive through? Not sure how it goes.

I'm thinking of having dinner at Trails End before. I've heard its good!

We've stayed and visited multiple times. Definitely love Trails End, you should eat there. Last year, there were decorations at Thanksgiving but not as elaborate as they will be as December goes on. You can rent a golf cart or you can walk to a few loops near the Settlement area. It's fun to end the night with the Electrical Water Pageant at 9:45 and Wishes at 10 on the Fort Beach.
