Who has stayed at the cabins and 1) Is the murphy bed comfortable? 2) Would the couch be a suitable sleeping place for a 14 yr old? 3) What was your experience with transportation 4) How far of a walk would it be to the beach / boat area? and 5) Were there 2 TVs in the cabin (I've read differing accounts & am wondering whose been there recently). Thanks for any info.

My dd (17) slept in the Murphy without any complaints but then again we are in Disney so there wasn't too much complaining about anything! My other dd (13) slept on the couch again with no complaints. There were 2 tv's in our cabin in loop 2500. It was way to far a walk to the marina we had to take a bus. It wasn't too bad. We really enjoyed our location and the cabin. You will probably have alot more responses on the dis's camping board.

My husband and i slept on the murphy bed and it was fine. Its a full size mattress, not the thin ones like in a pull out sofa.

Its just my opinion, but I don't think the couch would be very comfortable. Its more the size of a love seat and with the murphy be pulled down there isn't much space between the bed and the couch.

We rented a golf cart to get around. Otherwise you need to take a bus. We were in the 2600 loop and liked it.

1) DH and I slept on murphy bed and we thought it was fine. We were there a week.

2) I don't think anyone bigger than an under 10 would be comfortable on sofa. Ours was not what I would call full size. You would also be sleeping very close to the folks in the murphy bed. See photo http://www.yourmagicaljourneys.com/images/FtWilderness/ftwilderness (11).jpg

3) Transportation time did have to be built in to your plans, we did not feel it was convenient. We took it to the MK - bus to boat. But decided to drive everywhere else.

4) I don't think there are any cabins even close to water area. They seemed to be the farthest sections away.

5) We were there in 2002, only one tv. However, there was a cable sticking out of the bedroom wall to a small ledge just big enough for a tv. I assume they was one there before, and have heard recent visitors had two. We had all the kids in there and they didn't need a tv anyway. They brought their game system with monitor so they were happy.
