We have stayed in the cabins twice now and love them. We rented a gold car for one day and it was great. Very pricey, but fun. Make sure you get a cabin close to the bus stop, or you will have a bit of a trek. Not easy with slow toddlers when you hear the bus coming. We have stayed at Peacock Pass and Bobcat Bend and those locations were great. I have three kids under age 4 so it works out perfect for us having a seperate bedroom - they are all in that room and DH and I are in the pull down bed. And they have kitchens and a grill outside and nice deck and picnic table for barbecuing outside.
The pools are not great for little ones though. I would love it if they had a zero depth entry pool.
And they have a petting zoo and ponies for kids to ride. We watched the fireworks at night on the beach and it was a perfect view. They have nightly campfires for roasting marshmellows and smores and a movie on a giant screen. Chip and Dale also make an appearance.
