Good moring fiends! We got home from our little excursion, we had the best trip ever.

We got to meet 3 of the nicest families you could ever want to meet!!!

I have got to mow my grass, it is knee high, but when I get done, I am going to post some pictures tonight

Yup, it finally came, Friday ! Course it'll be here again this time next week too, so I'm not sure whats so special about it, .

TGIF. It's been a heckuva week. Glad it's winding down now. I gotta say, I'm getting a little frustrated - all you guys are meeting up without me. So far I met Mike and wife and the Wisconsin bunch last year and Carol of T@B fame a couple years ago, but everybody else I just know cyberlly(???). Oh yeah, then there was Larry, but that's a whole other story. Coming down to the two digit countdown for October! Gotta take time out to plan!

TGIF. It's been a heckuva week. Glad it's winding down now. I gotta say, I'm getting a little frustrated - all you guys are meeting up without me. ETA: Took today off - we just had a shed built so I was finishing cleaning up stuff on the patio and cleaning out gutters and stuff - now I'm sitting on the gazebo drinking a Landshark Lager - quite a tasty brew if I do say so. Right from Jacksonville if memory (and the writing on the bottle) serves me well. It's 80 here and sunny - nicest day in a long, long time. Supposed to rain tomorrow. Bummer. Maybe I'll go out and look for something to shoot. Skeet sounds like fun - Fred Skeet our next door neighbor.

Beer and shotguns - great combo -wish I still had access to a SAW. Now those are a lot of fun. Jim knows what I mean.


awwwww here'sa saw - aka squad automatic weapon ---- fine, fine, fine weapon. now it's time for a Moosehead or Harp or La Fin or maybe all three....

Just before I retired, I got a memo from my boss about sending some of my people for SAW training. I politely reminded him we are a medical unit ie. non combatants and this could be a violation of the Geneva Convention. He did not ask me again.

Morning all.

We will be getting the trailer ready today for a trip to the beach on Monday. We still haven't de-winterized. Hey..it's only July right?... We need to get some propane, in case we should loose power or if the electric on the fridge goes out. Which for the $400.00 it cost to repair the fridge it shouldn't...but I'm not taking any chances. Figure we'll hook up Sunday night..this way Bob can cut out of work early Monday and we can get out east before the rush hour traffic hits.
Which by the way...why is it called "rush hour"..when you really move at snails pace. I digress...

I'm happy to just be taking a trip this summer.. albeit for just few days. Bob will stay over, but be heading into work from the beach each day. Kids are gonna be visiting on various days, along with my mother and sister another. Should be fun. Weather is looking like it should be good. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Good morning all! After a series of thunderstorms last night, it is a beautiful day in the Lehigh Valley today. I am taking today off and spending it on my motor scooter, since I finished all my chores yesterday. Have a great day and enjoy your life!

Have a great day Jim ---- all my stuff is done too(I think) other than the fact that the damn garage roof leaks (shingles blew off in a windstorm this spring) - I have a contract to totally reroof everything but they won't start until August.

Jim, I just thought about this --- it'll be F&W and there will be a LOT more places to get beer then - YES! BTW, I was able to get myself my free ticket as well as a companion ticket for myself - I bet you could too. I'm not sure about your wife getting a 2nd companion ticket but what the hey all they can say is no -- I still have 5 entitlements on the free one for DQ and the WPs and 4 days left on the companion.
