You can take me out somewhere fancy. I promise not to hate it!
Morning ...umm, make that Good Afternoon all!
Probably shouldn't have said "fancy"...it was more...well, a "club". Dance type club. I'm so out of it.

Very hi-tech..very "yuppie-ish". My older son who is 28 had been there, and from how he described it to me, it sounded more for people of that age, than a restaurant to celebrate grandpa's birthday. Seating with couches..and what looked liked white bedding on day beds. Very modern. Not exactly the neighborhood Applebee's...but it was fine..VERY LOUD though. Try going there with my mom who has a little trouble hearing to begin with,..was pretty funny .

I don't think I'd go again, but we had a good time just the same. The hostess was the neice of someone else in our party..so that's why they chose this particular place to eat.
All went well, until the valet brought my parents van around. It's equipped to accomodate my dad's motorized wheel chair. He shut the van off..and it NEVER started again. The wheels/steering were locked, and we could NOT get this car started. They've had an issue wtih it before. After an hour of trying and different people hopping in an out of the drivers seat. I called a tow truck to take it to the shop. Then..we had to start making arrangements to shuttle people home. Tow truck had to get my dad's chair to the house...because it couldn't stay in the van, he needs it.
We started out the day with a 1:00 pm lunch date...ended up as a 6:00 pm dinner! What are ya gonna do.

Either way, Dad was just glad to be out of the house and seemed to enjoy the day despite the car trouble.
