Fort Dreams!

I've got the Fort Jones real bad and we have two months to go! I wish I was sitting on the back porch at the Meadows Trading Post eating a ice cream sandwich and watching the kids play hop scotch. Whats your happy FORT dream?

How great it would be sitting outside of the camper at the Fort, watching our DD1 and DD3 play outside, drinking a nice cold Mothership Wit with my husband and listening to the fireworks in the background!

WHEN WILL IT EVER GET HERE!!

Mine is more a favorite "thing". I really enjoy the first hour or so at the Fort - arrival and set-up - usually a pain anywhere else we go, but there's something about being there, getting ready for the week, getting immersed in the magic that really sets the vacation off on a good note. So on to one of my mostest favorite things about being there, so yes, it qualifies as a Fort Dream.....hearing the MK boat dock at the marina for the first time after arrival. AAAAHHHHHH......THAT is how I know I am at Disney! And as I type this, the hair is standing up on my arms.
Love that sound.....and we always stay near the marina because all of us love it so much. 26 days!!!

Had to laugh when I saw this! Everytime we walked through the Trading Post porch I had to stop and play hopscotch. It became a "vacation rule" - you had to "hopscotch" when passing that way.

Looping! We started going to the Fort for Halloween every year and we fell in love with the decorations at each site. It's the first thing we do after we get set up -- get our GC and Loop! CANNOT WAIT for our December trip. We've never been to the Fort past November 1, so this will be a first for us!

I'm so convinced that it will be so awesome, we've already booked Christmas Week 2011!

I love enjoying a cold one or two when setting up the site, and then moseying over to TE and enjoying the Giddyap n Go on the porch.

we're 3.5 months until FW arrival for Christmas. My jones fix is disboards.com and the newletters.

I think the best moments are when we board the boat to goto the kingdom, you come around the contemporary and your daughter's eye get big, like MM ears and she yells so the whole boat can hear "THE CASTLE, THE CASTLE."

I enjoy sitting outside the camper at night, and all is quiet, except for the rustle of armadillos and the bubbles from my beer, knowing you and the family are headed to the park the next day. After planning for some X amount of time, normally around 500 days, the time has come. The ultimate adult candy store.
