What's the earliest one can purchase a cup of coffee at the Fort, and where?

Sometimes I don't want to wait for the wife to get up and make me some, and would like to suprise her with some so she doesn't have to make it.

I think the earlyest you can get a cup is 7:30 when trails end opens, What I do is ride my bike over to the Wilderness lodge and get a cup at the roaring fork there open at 6:00, And the ride down the bike path early in the morning is quite nice....never know what critters your going too see.

That is a great bike ride! We saw 4 deer on that path during our Christmas trip!

This is correct info!

There are only two places at the Fort where you can buy a cup of coffee in the morning:

Trail's End, which opens at 7:30; and

The Meadow Trading Post, which opens at 8:00.

That's it.

The only other place coffee is sold is at the campfire in the evenings.

Bring your own coffee maker.

There is nothing better than coffee you make at your site with water from the green hose!

We had 6 adults staying at The Fort, only 1 of us could drink the coffee. I agree bring your own coffee maker.

Our solution for green hose water for making coffee (or anything else, really), especially for tenters who may not have any other source of water, is to use a Britta pitcher (or any other filtering device). Saves on buying water, too!

thanks everyone! We don't hook up the green hose. We just get it straight from the stump spigot.

You do realize that people clean their sewer hose with that green hose. A britta ain't gonna filter that out.

Then get a Keurig. Pop in K cup add water (not from the green hose) enjoy.

Also how hard is it make coffee if its pre-ground? Add filter, measure coffee, measure water, enjoy.

Hey, I've got my wife convinced I'm inept in the food/beverage preperation arena. I'd prefer not to mess up a good thing!

Plus, it gives me purpose when I want to get up and go somewhere while the morning rituals are gone through. The camper is 32 feet long, but somehow I always find myself in the way.

If you're up really early and itchin' for some coffee, you could always hit a 7-Eleven. (We don't have them in our neck of the woods, so the kids are always psyched to go when we're in FL. Sad, but true.)
