Formosa Gardens Estates ?

I thought I had researched this neighborhood pretty well prior to booking with All Star Vacation Homes. However, based on an old review I've put myself in a tizzy. Has anyone stayed in this neighborhood recently?

I know it was an old review, but it stated that there were lots of homes for sale/in foreclosure and they were overgrown. I don't care about them being for sale, or even in foreclosure for that matter since that is pretty much everywhere now, but I'm worried the neighborhood has gone down hill.

Can anyone fill me in on a recent update? Thanks!

There were about 4 homes in forclosure on Spinning Silk, but I think all but one has now been resold.

We were there in August, and didn't notice any house standing out with badly maintained lawns on any of the other streets. Spinning Silk was looking a lot better than it did at Christmas when we were there last.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

We were there in July and did notice a bunch of For Sale signs but the community looked as nice as ever. We have stayed at several communities in the area and Formosa Gardens is the best in our opinion. I'm sure there are some forclosures in this market and that will obviusly effect the upkeep of a home but I doubt it would be widspread in Formosa. Don't worry about it and enjoy your stay. If you have never been there I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised how nice the homes are.
