Hello! :)
I am aware that Disney is now completely nonsmoking in all of their resort rooms. However, do any of the rooms that were formerly used as "smoking rooms" still have a smoke smell? I'm wondering if I need to request a room that has never been a smoking room.

Thanks for your help! princess:

I travel with Frebreeze. I can't handle the smell. If it is an allergy issue, I would make that request.

It has been a year since smoking was allowed in any of the rooms. None of them that I have encountered still smell like smoke.
I wouldn't imagine that after a year (and the linens/bedding/curtains being changed out) that any smoke smell could still be around.

1) They did a good job of "de-smoking" the rooms.
2) Some, have a trace smell remaining.
3) The Front Desk no longer knows which were smoking rooms.
4) There are no longer designations for smoking rooms.
5) If you smell something, go back an ask for another room.

I agree. It's gotten to the point where Cast Members (the newer ones, obviously) don't even realize there was smoking allowed in the rooms.
