Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

TL, the babies are gorgeous!!!!
My husband's family have had race horses-thoroughbreds and quarter horses -forever. They are so beautiful!!! My DMIL had her 84th birthday party at the Fair Grounds. DBIL had a horse running. They even named the race for her. She was so tickled. I suck at choosing winners but my husband and kids are very good-it must be in their blood!!!

OMG! I so want this. It's called the Badonkadonk personal tank. It's for sale on Amazon.com for $20,000. I would paint it purple. It holds you and up to 5 of your closest (or not so close) friends. It goes 40 mph and can shoot flames out it's roof! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I saw it on an old episode of Monster Garage tonight. Too cool!

Tink....you gave birth to one of these!!! :scared1: You have full rights to mommy guilt from here on out ...
That's what I say. ;) I went through 36 hours of unmedicated labor, too, so I get to dole out an extra portion.

:lmao: Love it. Go for it.

Funny you should say that. They told me babies tend to get bigger, but all 4 of my others were smaller....thankfully :goodvibes
That's what I've heard, too. DH was 9 lbs 2 oz when he was born, DSIL was 7 lbs, and BIL was 10 lbs 11 oz! So I don't know. :confused3

Wow a lot of big babies. My first was 11 lbs. 7 oz. But he was a month late.
The second was 7 lbs - My third was 10 lbs 4 oz and the last was 9 lbs. It was always a guess when they were due so I think the larger ones were all a little late. They induced my second on the due date - so it was a normal weight.
Wanted to say hello and send us back to page one- Can't believe page 4.

Sandy

I am speechless. Both of my babies were 6# 5 oz and I thought that hurt like nobody's business. :scared1:

:rotfl2:big babies hurt with no epi  Working L&D for half of my life I have seen many a big babies....biggest was almost 12 lbs. Not a vag delivery thank god:lmao: my first(my son) was over 9 lbs. I delivered at the hospital I was charge Nurse at, so you can imagine the treatment I got. You would have thought I was in a 5 star Hotel:rotfl:Even the Dr's were all stopping in to check on me. It was great!

Second son, I was at bed rest from 22 weeks on and when I was in the hospital during premature labor ,knowing what I knew they also were great. But let me point out that we always treated the patients as if they were family. We all worked great together and loved what we did. We had many return patients through the years and we were always asked for by name to be there nurse again.

I still get Christmas cards from my Patients with their family pictures on it. One family had 10 children (one set of twins)...step ladder kids. I delivered every one of them. Two of there boys played soccer with my son...it was great!

I had an epi at 36 hours of unmedicated labor. It took an hour to get the epi, they stuck me 7 times before they finally got it, but OH! THE RELIEF!

Next time I'm getting an epi as soon as the test comes back positive. :rotfl2:
