I also really liked the Backstreet Boys music and I thought their concerts were always excelent. I was happy my DD chose such a nice group of guys for her fav group band and that we share good memories of seeing them in concert and listing to their music together. I think the love of their music helped us to bond.

I feel the same way, my daughter just loved them too along with the Spice Girls. BSB were good together. She's 23 and married and left all that stuff with me. But those are good memories.

Do you collect the Jim Shore Disney Freedom figures?

I have a collection in my guest bedroom.

I had decorated the guest bedroom with the Spirit of Mickey bedspread, sheets, wall print, wastebasket, Large Spirit of Mickey statue and the Jim Shore Freedom collection fit right in.

I love Jim Shore's figure's and of course the Disney figures are my fav.

Yes, they are good memories.

My DD is 25 now and she packed away most of the BSB stuff a couple of years ago.

She still has her BSB photo album of her personal pics with the guys and her autograph book with their autographs. She also has the frame with her BSB concert stubs in her room but the rest is packed up and in our attic . I imagine it will stay there until she gets married and has a home of her own.

this is so kewl...i have an "alice" room (formerly the kittys' room), but i haven't gotten it all decorated yet. so i guess right now it's a storage room for my alice stuff...not quite as neat. (man...i really need some bookshelves...)

I think there is a Restoration Hardware outlet by you. Have you ever gone there? I like their case goods, including bookcases/office-type furniture.
