Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Just popping with my recommendation for Whispering Canyon and PT Cafe - we didn't have too many ADRs on our Jan trip but we did have these two. The time spent at the PT were some of our favorite memories - appropriate snarkiness from the wait staff and delicious milkshakes [the food was good, too]. We enjoyed the WC as well - the roasted chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly [and I'm not a big fan of chicken]. The service was fabulous - we had been going strong for 12+ hours by that time and were grumpy and exhausted...our server pulled us out of our bad mood, changed the entire dynamic of our evening.

And wonder - salad AND onion rings - that's two veggies in one meal! Perhaps if you had a milkshake on the side, you'd have a properly balanced vacation meal.

Lying, and stealing, and ID theft, oh my!:scared: I don't care which Good Book you're readin', that's some scary business going on there...

We love going to WCC and having the endless skillet thingy. We always get stupid and overindulge. You would think we would learn. :rolleyes1

We loved Prime Time's dector and charactor/servers too, but that's all. We were not impressed with the food maybe because we got the meatloaf. I can only eat it at home.:confused3 Sorry Wonder I know you're a vegetable lover.;)

no prob....i used to be a burger lover.

I think chobie seems very concerned for your friend too. Hugs and prayers [/QUOTE

Well, she seems to think she is a danger to herself or others, so yes I am concerned.

But since mental illness is a joking matter here, apparently, then by all means don't let me interrupt your fun.

And speaking of jr high school, where would making light of serious mental disorders fall in the maturity level spectrum?

:confused3 I didn't see any joking - in fact quite a few of us seem very concerned for my friend and Mahnamahna's. I know I for one am praying very hard for the aforementioned individuals.

So, this "friend" is an actual person you know in real life who actually told you she is bi-polar?

I'm not a Christian but I think lying about having a "friend" or at least lying about what they "told" you and then "praying" for them... oh well, its your soul.

:confused3 What could possibly make you think I'm lying? My goodness. :flower3: Spring is in the air....enjoy! :goodvibes

Yes, why would you make up a story about someone having a serious mental disorder, there is nothing funny about that. Carry on...

:confused3 Exactly, I think it's very serious business especially when the friend goes off the handle and pulls others into her delusions. :sad2:

Honestly, I'm not certain why you continue to hara....er, I mean question me on this topic. But I'm enjoying the day too much to be too concerned about it. :goodvibes Again, Spring is breaking - enjoy.:flower3:

Hey Breezy when is your next WDW trip?

Not soon enough, I can tell ya that :rotfl:

Honestly, it depends on how well DH does at his new job. Knowing DH like I do - we shouldn't have to wait too much longer. ;) But nothing planned for right now.

WCC is our date night. I plan to get the skillet. :)

Breezy- you have spring there? It's only 40ish here. We had spring last weekend- mid 70's! Might get a blizzard here tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm looking forward to our trip; however, my car is in the shop today so I'm at home. I home it's not going to dip into our planed trip money.

So, you have an actual friend who actually told you she has mental disorder and you're having a great day despite a friend who is in danger?

And you brought this up as a topic for us all to discuss several pages back and I'm taking you up on your offer to discuss this. If you think that is harassment, by all means notify the mods, call the police whatever you need to do.

Oh...I'm glad I not not there. We have 59 and rain today but 75 this Saturday.:cool1:

Yes, its a very serious disorder -- not something to be taken lightly.

And I'll save Wonderlanne the trouble:

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm not a psychiatrist. I have known people who had loved ones with this disorder and it caused a lot of heartache for family. I would not even begin pretend I know anything more about such illness and certainly would not start throwing such terms about to obtain one upmanship on a discussion board. JMHO

Woke up, did you?

Well then, get off the internet and call a medical health professional to handle this person or you will then have some responsibility if anything does happen.

Oh, do tell. I hear it's an awfully high standard to beat (I'm guesing you know this, of course), particularly when someone doesn't own the name by copyright or TM. Do you think they paid to copyright their name? It's fairly cheap to register a name with the government (about $500) but that seems a lot of work just to have a special name on the internet. And they'd have to show some damages? You know, damage to their reputation, that sort of thing. Of course there's really no case law on this yet. This is fascinating. I'd love to hear more.

You seem upset. Why is that?

And I certainly appreciate, Darling. What a warm inviting place you have around here. And so Christian. And can't help but wonder what the good Lord would think.

You take care.

You know, I don't need to know about your take on religion to know what a warm and caring person you are. I think I'm going to like talking to you.:goodvibes

Have a nice day.

ID theft, you mean she stole a person's real name and social security number?

Ridiculing people with AIDS? What exactly was the comment?

So, this "friend" is an actual person you know in real life who actually told you she is bi-polar?

I think after the "prank" which took place, it would be best if you guys just steered clear of this thread. We can't be sure who all was involved, but one person made it pretty obvious with their random laughing smilies posted after the imposters posts. The debating, and the baiting, is over, so let it go and move on. The game of taking jabs at one another has been going on for a long time, but it really crossed a line in my opinion, finding out that people take obscene pleasure in attempting to deliberately mislead a young woman to believe that she is being maliciously deceived by someone close to her. In spite of the "joke", I hope that it is not a true representation of how people within that community behave, and that they don't hunt down naive women in hopes of messing with their minds in such a manner. So again, as much as it's been made clear as to the lengths that some are motivated to go based on their hatred of those with opposing idealogy, just stop. I would ask the regulars here not to engage any further in discussion with them, as one of their goals is clearly to hope for this thread to be permanently closed.

My goodness! Who said harassment? I said hara

Besides, I was just taking your advice and "carrying on" :confused3 :goodvibes

Ah yes, Spring is here - sadly the temps are not. It's a bit chilly today
