Formal Pics

I've read that there's usually a long line to get your pictures taken during formal nights. With the already long line, will they allow us to take more than one poses? (eg., whole family, just the kids, DW and DH, etc.)

I'm imagining a factory conveyer belt where one family is pushed in front of the camera, takes one shot, and then gets pushed away so another set of family takes their turn, and so on...

We got the chance to do many poses:

DH & DW,
DW & DD's
All of us, etc

Did not feel particularly rushed.

But I did find the photographers on the upper level of the atrium lobby were much less busy, and we also went at the beginning of the photo sessions.


We got priceless pictures that created a lifetime of memories.

I know that we probably just lucked out, but the lines for us were never very long. The photographers took many poses, never felt rushed. We bought many pics, and probably the best souveniers (sp?) from the vacation.
