Formal Nights on 7day

We just booked & got on the 1/25 Magic. We are 1st time cruisers & I was wondering about the formal & semi-formal nights. Do we have to have tuxes & formals? What are the majority wearing? We would of course dress nice, but seeing this is semi-spur of the moment, not much time to shop.

No, you do not need a tux, a nice suit is fine. On formal night women wear everything from dressy pantsuits to formal ball gowns. Anything in that range is perfectly acceptable. Most women wear dressy cocktail type dresses.
