Formal Night question...

We were on the Magic in January for a 5 night cruise. I have read some folks talking about a semi-formal night on the shorter cruises, but if there was one we had no idea.

We are doing a 7 night in August and I am wondering how we know which night is formal night or semi-formal, etc?

Your navigator should tell you which night is formal/semi-formal, at least I think it did when we went last time. It has been awhile since I have been on a 7-night cruise so I am sure that someone here has more recent memories of how they knew

Yes, the navigator will tell you. Generally, formal has fallen on day 2 and semi formal is at the end of the week. Not the last night, but maybe the 2nd to last night. Of course, these things can always change
