formal night - can I wear a pantsuit?

OK - I HATE to wear dresses. Can I get away on the 7 day's formal night with a nice navy pantsuit?

ON OUR LAST DISNEY CRUISE I WORE A " DRESSY " PANTS OUTFIT FOR BOTH OUR FORMAL NIGHTS. I DON'T THINK YOU WOULD FEEL OUT OF PLACE AND THERE WERE OTHERS IN PANTS ALSO.

Definately......I have worn pants/tops before to formal night and fit right in. No problem. As long as you look nice, you will be fine!!!

Thanks for your post! DH was thinking of renting a tux, but now I'm thinking a suit will do, which means I won't have to carry all those extra clothes too.

While on the topic of clothes, I have to tell you what happened last year on the Wonder. For the "dress up" night at Tritons I brought a turqoise silk top with a black skirt. Well, I looked exactly like the waiters. So much for dressing up!

I think you'll look great in a pantsuit!

A dressy pantsuit is perfectly appropriate for formal night, go for it!

Im bringing 3 long skirts w/matching tops.
Dressier black print is formal night. I did buy a shiny black top to go w/this.
Have a different black print for semi formal night.
And a blue print for Lumiere's or Palos.

Its the alternative to a pant suit for me. I can wear flatter shoes, etc.

On our first Disney Magic cruise I took a long red dress, and a dressy black pants outfit. On our second cruise I just took the black pants outfit and wore it each of the two formal nights. You're only in your formal clothes for a couple of hours or so, so I didn't see the need to take both formal outfits again. Nobody seemed to mind that I wore the pants outfit twice. I don't particularly enjoy wearing dresses, and was just more comfortable in the pants outfit.
