Last day in park was yesterday, forgot to buy last night is there anywhere outside to buy the mickey bread and or groot bread. Not sure if onsite concierge can for a pretty $ I am sure, or is there anywhere I am not thinking of in downtown Disney.

La Brea Bakery in DTD might? I know they have bread but I never paid attention to see if it was Mickey shaped.

bummer thanks all kinda of what I figured, oh well tigger tails are in hand.

Note to self, add butter to grocery stop list.

Have you tried going to the DCA - GCH entrance with your whole family, explain the situation and see if a CM would let ONE of the adults run in while everyone else waits for them to return with the Groot Bread?

Awhile back I heard of Disney granting a one hour shopping pass... I have no idea if that was legit though. We love that bread! Someone else reported that it could be bought at the fruit stand just inside the entrance of DCA.

I had heard they don't allow the one hour pass any more. But who knows the way things change at Disneyland.
I thought with the family there, a CM might allow one to make a quick shopping trip. Like the one hour pass idea....

I like LOTS of butter. And for an entire Mickey and Groot. And maybe a bread bowl. I adore sour dough.

I joke that the bread is our cheapest meal in the parks, but I'm a little bit serious. We are a family of 6. We eat the entire Mickey bread (with no shortage of butter) in one sitting. Everyone is full when we are done! It makes for a great late morning snack and we don't need lunch until later.

Never thought of it...at LAX now; sadly.

I know it's too late for you now, but next time (if you have a car) you should check out the Boudin Bakery and Cafe at the Main Place Mall. It's about 10 minutes from Disneyland and they have terrific bread. They won't have Mickey-shaped loaves bit may have other ones. I've seen turtle-shaped ones before.

Dang too bad i didn't see this earlier. Left dca today around noon and headed to dl. Was eyeing the bread in the corner market while leaving dca
